NC Supreme Court upholds death sentence in Shaniya Davis murder

It affected the judge, too. I remember watching TV on the news the day the jury's verdict was read and accepted by the judge.
A few more standard statements, etc., were made, and then the judge said, "Now get this man out of my courtroom."

I've never forgotten Shaniya.

Mario McNeill should be executed along with Antoniette Davis. She is just as bad as McNeill.

This is a pretty vile case and easily ranks up there with other horrid cases. uke:

Lil Shaniya really got to me too. The betrayal was just gutting. To have your own mother hand you off to a rapist/killer---it is such evil.
Such a beautiful, sweet baby, being surrounded by such cold, heartless cruelty is totally devastating.
