His Attorney patted him gently on the back when the Judge denied his request. Ain't that just too bad? Maybe if he'd have helped those kids and cared for them and patted them on the back he wouldn't be where he's at right now.

Wasn't sure if I should start a seperate thread here, but the Bishop of West Virginia who is like Philly Archdiocese royalty and who was mentioned during the trial by one of the victims of Father Gana had in 2007 had a young man go to authorities saying he was groped by Bransfield.

Hmmmmmmm. The man said it happened in Lansdale High and Montgomery County is doing it's own investigation.

Father Avery said he had only plead guilty because he didn't want to spend the rest of his life in jail.

A jury has found a Catholic priest and a former parochial school teacher guilty of charges involving the serial sexual assault of a 10-year-old altar boy at St. Jerome's parish school.

The Rev. Charles Engelhardt was found guilty on all but one count. Former parochial schoolteacher Bernard Shero was found guilty on all counts. Both men were taken into custody late this afternoon. Sentencing will be April 18.

The verdict came after after nearly three full days of deliberations.

Another Philadelphia Priest has been arrested when a 26 year old victim came forward and revealed Brennan sexually assaulted him for years when he went to Resurecttion school. That's "Reso" to us.

This particular Brennan figured in the trial as he was continuously moved around to Parishes in Montgomery County, Philly and other counties.

Under Oath the late Cardinal Bevilaqua said he considered Brennan's problems "innocuous boundry issues".:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Brennan was arrested at his private home and is still a Priest, but going through the process of being defrocked.

The last updated news I saw on Lynn was he lost 50 pounds in jail.
