Patsy Gaisor was last seen in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Frank Johnson of Philadelphia and Robert Andre Ruff of Harrisburg were found guilty of kidnapping Gaisor and of interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle.
According to Johnson, they took Gaisior to a bank and forced her to withdraw money from her account, then took her to a motel in Washington, D.C. where she was raped. She was then taken to Anacostia Park where Ruff shot her with Johnson's gun. Both men threw her body in the Anacostia River.
Johnson pled guilty to murder and agreed to cooperate with authorities only after he and Ruff had been convicted of federal kidnapping charges in Pennsylvania. Ruff was convicted largely on Johnson's testimony.
Gaisior's body has never been found. Washington, D.C. police are investigating.

[h=4]February 27, 1949 to December 3, 1980[/h] Patsy was the fourth child of a family of five children and reared in the rural community of Atkinson Mills, PA. She was very active in her church and sung in the church choir. She joined the 4-H of Mifflin County and became an expert at sewing, which was her hobby.
Pat graduated from Mount Union High School and attended Madison Univesity in Virginia.
Patsy was employed by a lawyer as a Secretary. While there, she was accepted as a Service Representative for Bell of Pennsylvania in Lewistown, PA. The Lewistown office closed and she was transferred to the Harrisburg office. While working for Bell, she received many thank you notes and comments from the general public whom she helped with different situations.

Pat is sadly missed by her two sisters and two brothers as well as her parents.
