I assume the property on Winchester Avenue where she was last seen is her home address ? Did she live alone ?

A woman thought to be Ms Johnson - who is also known as Shirley - was spotted on CCTV about 30 minutes later on Winchester Avenue and Thorne Road.

On Thursday South Yorkshire Police said officers were now conducting searches at nearby Sandall Beat Wood.

South Yorkshire Police CCTV images though to show missing woman Pam Johnson

I'm not sure, but she apparently didn't take any keys with her. That leaves a few options - she lives with someone and wouldn't need to take keys with her, she lives alone and forgot them, she lives alone and purposely didn't take them. Could be many different reasons why, memory issues, mh crisis, intoxication, maybe she never locked the door? not wise obviously but it's a possibility. I'm not victim blaming/shaming here AT ALL by the way, just looking at all the possibilities

Wondering what caused her to turn her head?
Doesn't look quite near enough to the kerb to check for traffic before crossing.

Hoping Pam/Shirley is found soon.

(Not liking the sound of the woods being searched :()

UPDATE: Body sadly found in the search for missing Pam

Police officers searching for missing 63-year-old Doncaster woman Pam, who also goes by the name Shirley, have today (Monday 25 March) sadly found a body.

While formal identification is yet to take place, officers believe it to be that of Pam. Her family have been informed and continue to be supported by officers at this time.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the public who have been incredibly supportive in sharing our appeals about Pam’s disappearance, as well as handing out posters and carrying out their own searches.

We also want to extend our thanks to partners including Doncaster Council, Mountain Rescue and Lowland Rescue, who have helped both spread the word and assisted with searches.

Our thoughts are with Pam’s loved ones at this most difficult of times.

RIP Pam,

Leaving her keys at home was probably a clue for her loved ones that she had gone.

There’s been quite a few cases recently of women aged in there 50s and 60s making the decision to end their life in this way - it can often be a hard and traumatic period as quite often their parents pass away.. children move out.. illnesses start etc
