The grandmother that ZB was living with was it AB mother?
Is the grandmother still alive?
Did grandmother have contact with AB while in America and keep it from Bio mom?

IIRC:
ED (biomum) was awarded shared parental responsibility with periods of visitation in 2001. AB moved away after ED excersized one visitation. KB (AB's mother) cared for Zahra as she and AB lived with KB. KB has been in NC, along with AB's brother, for approximately 3 weeks. KB has made statements on facebook alluding to a disagreement in taking Zahra to the US. She further stated she was not in contact with AB or Zahra after they relocated. HTH

It seems the Bakers moved to 21 21st Ave NW in August.
From the early reports no one even knew a child lived there.
The Baker's lived at 4110 Phillips Lane, Hudson, NC 28638 before moving to 21 21st Ave. Hickory, NC.

Since Adam Baker is technically an Australian citizen - can't he be deported back to Australia? Another posted said no, but he was married to a US citizen, does he have his US citizenship? Is this why LE is making sure Adam Baker isn't charged until they are absolutely certain?

Adam is not a US citizen.

Adam currently is facing charges that are unrelated to Zahra, so he will have to go to court and face the charges and either get sentence for the charges, or pay fines, whatever it is the court hands down.

What crime Adam does here in the USA, he is going to have to serve in the USA.

Right now Adam is not going anywhere as LE has his passport.

If a person has apparent financial issues with worthless checks and such.

How would AB or EB be able to get attorney. I notice in many cases the suspects seem to get attorneys pretty fast and a crime as murder I am sure it cost quite a bit.

Does anyone know how they are financing the attorneys. Are they in private practice or public defenders?
