Something occurs to me as I read the replies in this thread. If I was paying money for a working girl I would do some research. I might sit there with a friend and look at all the ads maybe request photos etc... I am paying money. Maybe I don't have enough money to hire working girls everyday. So I want to make sure I have a good time and get one that fits what I am attracted to. I have no experience in hiring these women this is just my take on it as a male. I also would never hire anyone for sex.

However putting myself in JB's position as a man I would fine tune and select. We don't just go for the first female we see. So I can understand why not a LI working girl vs NYC but I can also see why. We would need to look at ads on LI vs NYC and see if there was a wider variety. Did JB already hire a lot of the girls from LI and he wanted someone else?

Anyhow just my take on it as a man if I was to hire someone. We have our types. Hair color etc... I personally am attracted to a very specific type of female so for me I would need to sift thru ads for quite sometime to find one I liked.

Also JB liking her body being found is somewhat confusing. He is probably happy that closure is coming IMO so that he is cleared. I am sure a lot of people are looking at him as suspect. Its a first come first serve business and a BP escort doesn't sit around in her lingerie for too long without an appointment. Hey guys this is Jim Jones and when I interviewed GC (Sunday With Gus)he said that when MP drove down to him looking for Shannan, MP said that he and Shannan had been partying at JB's etc etc. But what I found interesting was that it sounded like from the way GC described it to me that MP used JB's last name. This didn't really dawn on me as i was doing the actual interview but I wondered about it later. So next time I saw GC at the Dec 13 vigil I asked him specifically if MP used JB's last name. And he replied with an adamant YES. This kinda makes me think that maybe JB and MP did have some kinda relationship. I mean what's the chances MP would know JB's last name on a first encounter? I guess it's possible but seems unlikely IMO.

Perhaps SG and MP required some screening of JB before they would drive so far for an appointment to make sure he was for real and not a time waster. JB may have had to disclose his real name and that is how MP knew it.

We are people who are trying to help the victims & families...but what I do not understand is why some ordinary people posting go out of there way as far as feeling like they are entitled to reporters private sources.

What I see is, you are upset then people ask reporters for information. Why? This has nothing to do with "entitlement", this is called "sleuthing". And what with all this CPH stuff. The guy has a leg prothesis, there is no evidence of psychoapthic behavior and a lot of signs of hefty panic with that guy. That's thinner than thin and it needs a real obsession to still believe, he is the LISK. But fine, you have a right to your own opinion. That doesn't mean all others have to have the same.

Sorry my fault that was not what I intended or meant to imply. I do know it was stated SG did say Persons, just did not know who else besides JB & possibly Pak. That is baffling, MP claimed on 48 it was just Brewer....than this drifter was brought up & I know name but I do not know if the drifter was confirmed positively. Questioned was stated.....but I can not confirm. I do not know if I am allowed to cut & paste from a different websites post? I do not want to breach rules. Plus I do not want to breach any confidenial info that a family member has stated. Every1 is very tight lipped which says it all. That is for the good of the investagation. I do not know what to think about GC, except he lied & is a key to this whole story.

CPH, I do not know exactlt what his role is in it but he lied to. So I think of possible theory around lies.....He may have helped a friend like gc....but lying makes you just as guilty....they get punished harsh if it proven they lied to cover up a crime.....Imagine a Veteran getting 9 months for calling 911 in a state penitentory......Imagin what the honorable Judge would do to people who lied in a case involving 12 + murders.....Imagine.......

When SG went missing I remember looking at her movement time line and thinking it was kind of late in the evening. There could have been a lot of people already booked on Craigslist for that night. So that is a very good possibility why JB chose a NYC ad over a LI ad.

If they found the remnants of a non-recreational drug, and were planning on indicting someone, would they release the autopsy report or remains prior to the charges? I don't think so but I am not certain, it may depend on if they consider the person a flight risk.

I've heard the 'drifter' be referred to as 3 (maybe even 5) people so far. One being 'Lenny', and another with initials PA. What I would really like to know is where EXACTLY did these names come from? Why so many? Problem is, I know these peoples names from forums - That means other people do to. This could ruin someones life. If my name was getting tossed around in a homicide forum, I'd get a bit pissed off. Ok, done ranting.

Maybe JB didn't want to hire anyone he knew or who might know him. His family owns a business in the area and are landlords, so hiring someone from out of town might have felt more discreet.

Also, it wouldn't be him doing the traveling, so maybe he didn't care how far the escort had to come.

I am not sure there would have been enough tissue left to find the remnants of any sort of recreational drug. I work in a Clinical Laboratory, and I will ask our toxicologist tomorrow. Most drugs are measured in urine or blood. Hair can be used for some things, but hair typically doesn't represent current drug use - it is something that builds up over time and is most often used to determine chronic drug use. Even if there was some way to detect drugs in a body that was essentially a skeleton, I don't think they could hang it on anyone that SG was with that night.

Remembering from the Caylee Anthony case, there was mention of a way to detect drugs from bone marrow. Still wouldnt prove if they were slipped to her in a drink or she took them herself.

normally, they send out tissue, hair, bone samples, etc for testing, but release the remains to the family

We do not know if they were left at the same time or exactly when they were killed. Maureen Braind- Barnes went missing in 2007 and was not found until 2010. . We do not know how long she was left in burlap along ocean parkway. She and the other victims found on ocean parkway would still be there except for the family of Shannon Gilbert and Shannon's attempt to flee. I am not sure why she went there or why Maureen ended up on long Island not very far away .Maureen may have been looking for a ride home after being robbed and Shannon went all the way out there with a driver she knew but why ? Really ? Why? IMO there had to be good reason for Shannon to make the trip to the middle of nowhere in LI. Or there was a very good reason for someone out there to bring her to the middle of no where. IMO

its really not in the middle of nowhere,this really is quite populated especially when you go north of the beaches.

@Still - non-recreational drug is something like a prescription drug, or even something like arsenic. Another example would be succinylcholine, a drug that must be injected and essentially paralyzes the victim. It is really hard to detect the metabolite products from it, and therefore, it has a reputation as being a great drug for murders. Google "succinylcholine for murders", and you can get a lot of information.
