Monday, an Orange County, CA, grandmom got hit by a 'slow-moving' car (kinda wonder why there wasn't time to stop?). Her little dog ran off and her last thoughts before being driven off to hospital were thanks that he wasn't hit.
But then he was missing.
cbslosangeles were good enough to post a story with a pic of the dog, which I saw go up. I checked back later, without much hope and lots of sadness for an injured senior who didn't know what she'd do if her dog wasn't found.
A viewer had seen the photo on the news and called in. Jennifer Owen and her little Chi were reunited. That's it. I told you it was a simple story, but isn't it just nice?
