As far as what would a young girl want with him.....I have teen girls so Im exposed to lots of their friends on social media. I am DISGUSTED at the amount of older guys who hit on 14 yr old girls. Its really not a small amount at all!

Sicko's. Yuck. I'm glad I don't have daughters. I'd be scared to death for their safety.

These numbers are disturbing. I included #6 for a special friend whose daughter suffers from the self-harm of cutting.

Anybody else wonder if the 30 seconds in his car before exiting it in the morning at the treehouse were so he could get his little erection and photograph it in a place more "private" than his cubicle? Just a thought.

Only with proof that he shared it with others. That would mean one of his friends or co-workers would have to rat him out and say, "Yeah he showed me this picture of a girl on Kik." It's personal communication at this point.

I mean, common sense, right? The cops are bound to do at least a perfunctory investigation even if you are the most believable idiot parent to ever have done this.

I agree he is garbage and I am mostly convinced of his guilt, but this one thing throws me. Why was he sexting that day? He had enough sense to make the phony call to his wife about picking up his "buddy" which had to be for pure show, but that seems to indicate he knew the cops would be checking his phone??

This is exactly why I don't think it RH killed CH intentionally. It's just too stupid- too careless, too oblivious and completely out of touch with reality. As a matter of fact, it reminds me of the men I've seen at strip clubs, many of whom have similar dazed, idiotic expressions on their faces. One of my guy friends who earned his law degree at an Ivy League school actually pointed to a stripper and told me that she "wanted" him. He believed it. Like a kid in a candy shop. I think it's an adrenaline rush that literally makes you dumber.

I'm so glad you posted this because RH is one of many such fools. He's only exceptional in that he was negligent and awful enough to leave his baby to die in an overheated car. But there are many married men on those websites. And there are women who use AshleyMadison.com. And there are little girls whose parents let them dress like teenagers, and there are *advertiser censored**hats who prey on little girls.

It's scary when I hear people sounding surprised that RH was sexting. We don't live in a bubble. Our culture is the sleaziest, most overtly-pornographic in the world. That's just a fact.

BBM - It's not that people are surprised about that. They are outraged at the depravity he exhibited by doing that while he knew his son was baking to death in the car. His lawyers better take note: a '*advertiser censored* addiction' defense is not going to go over very well with jurors, imo. If anything, it will highlight that this sleazy *advertiser censored**hat who likes to prey on underage girls has an inherent depraved indifference toward children, including his own son. :facepalm:
 
JMO but I don't think RH thought anyone would even think that he might have done this on purpose. He thought the "forgot him in the car" excuse would just be accepted without anyone giving it a second thought.

Um..... some of us are (or, were) very surprised at that. It's so completely at odds with the public image they presented of a loving couple, loving parents, involved in their church, living a moral and righteous life. When I heard that testimony during the prelim. hearing, you could have knocked me over with a feather.

ETA: And yes, outraged at the depravity.

*advertiser censored* addiction defenses are ridiculous. Am I the only person who wishes they would disappear like the men that need them?

We know for a fact that RH's depravity includes sexting, cheating on his wife, and acting like a sleaze. However, we speculate that his depravity might also include knowledge that CH was dying of heat exposure. The things we know are not the same as the things we speculate. I like to keep a line between the two.
 
Justin Ross Harris was charged Friday on eight separate counts of sexually exploiting a minor.

Harris, who will be tried separately for the newest crimes, allegedly had explicit photographs of two underage girls, and sent nude selfies of himself to both of them, as well as an additional minor.

Of the eight new charges, six are for disseminating harmful material to a minor and two are for sexual exploitation of children.
