OK call me crazy but maybe the timeline here but take notice on the time he went to bed,is everyone so much going after Patsy that they think John cpuldn't do it.And this is what he said in the interview with the police and became qiute when asked again like he just messed up.

If John raped JB what would the wiping up help? Wouldn't there have still be evidence inside her to incriminate him?

JB was not raped, not in the true sense. And not necessarily.

I for one do not rule out John.I do think it was either him or Patsy that inflicted the initial head injury, and then they both became involved in the cover-up after that..inc. garroting her.the evidence is there for both of them.

The coroner DID find evidence of past sexual abuse. Her hymen was "eroded" which occurs over time. There was internal bruising and vascular congestion. Some injuries were not recent. NO 6-year old girl should have an eroded hymen, with most of it missing. No bubble bath can do that. The coroner dictated notes as he conducted the autopsy. These were not made public, though the autopsy report itself was. Detective Arndt was there for the autopsy, and the coroner told her that what he saw could be evidence of digital penetration. When an autopsy is written, the coroner writes WHAT HE OBSERVES. He doesn't always write what he thinks about it. There will usually, but not always, be a cause of death listed if it is possible to discern. But the coroner's opinions are not always put into the report, though they may share them with police.
JBR was dead about 12 hours when she was first brought up from the basement around 1 pm. This was evidenced by the fact that Det. Arndt reported she was in full rigor mortis at that time, which takes 12 hours in average indoor temperatures. By the time the coroner came for his BRIEF (10 minutes) examination of the body at around 8 pm, she was dead just over 18 hours, and by the time of the autopsy on the morning of the 27th, she had been dead about 36 hours. Rigor was beginning to pass off at that point, described by degrees (+ 1-2 to +4-5). We can see in the photos that her arms had reduced rigor by then, her fingers looking relaxed. Sometimes the coroner has to break rigor himself, but Mayer didn't mention doing this.

Hi DeeDee.

Thanks for another informative post.

'break rigor himself' ... how's that?
