TN - Baby found alive after tornado

My family tree gained a branch (at least a twig!) in eastern Oklahoma in the late 1880's. After a tornado passed, family & neighbors noticed a toddler clinging to some brush on a sandbar in the river. A few men rigged ropes for themselves & waded/swam out to get the baby.

He became part of our family & was known around town as Cyclone Johnny!

Of course today, I have questions about his family of origin -- but my cousins & I agree that our family had no way to find them.

He left the area as a young man, we don't know where he went or if he has decedents.
