The press conference seems to have started but the video seems to be stuck.
 
This is the little town I live in...sad day for cumberland co. So grateful that LE caught suspect so quickly.

Basically, from what I could tell they were just telling about the people being found, identified, arrest made, but say the crime scene investigation is not complete and cannot give out more info at this time. They will tell more later when they have it.

I did read on one of the previous articles that the suspect was held on violation of parole, so he must have been in prison at one time.

Here's the link to the comment I was referring to. Seems Danielle was the Aunt of the 16 year old that passed away with the victims.

I did find the Jacob's FB page (It does link back to the sister that commented on the Renegade Mountain page, so I thought it might be against the rules to post. Sorry, still learning). If you scroll through the photos a very interesting photo pops up. It's of him in a ski mask and there's a very interesting comment made on it.

The whole situation just seems so odd. I wonder how he caught all of them off guard? It seems if he shot one, maybe one of the others would attempt to flee. This is just a very sad case to me.

According to Dorinda Carter, spokeswoman with the state Department of Correction, a parole violation for Bennett’s arrest was issued Thursday. That document is what authorities used to hold him in custody as the investigation progressed.

Bennett had been released March 4 from the Hardeman County Correctional Facility, according to Carter. He had been sentenced in 2010 to six years imprisonment on charges of forgery, attempted theft of property, possession of a handgun during a felony and theft of property, Carter said.

His parole had been slated to end Jan. 17, 2015.

Bennett had been arrested at least five times in Cumberland County, according to Sheriff Butch Burgess and had been booked in other counties and other states."

I see a mugshot online for someone that looks just like him with charges in Sonoma County, CA. It's one of those "mugshot sites" though and I don't know if it is linkable here or not. I also don't know how accurate these "mugshot sites" are.
 
Ah, so he actually lives in Crab Orchard, TN which is about 5 miles/12 minutes from Renegade Mountain but was "captured" in Dayton, which is about 42 miles/1 hour from Renegade Mountain.
 
I found one for him in Florida also. (mugshot)

Geez...this dude got around. Thank goodness for a quick arrest.

just an fyi - that page does not appear to be an official media page or be run by a county official ... looks like just a member of the community imo

Chickaroo, I'm not saying you did anything wrong ... just that the FB url gives the impression it's either a media page or official city page
 
DA: Suspect in Cumberland slayings knew victims 'to some degree'

“The suspect knew the victims to some degree,” District Attorney General Randy York said during a news conference Friday but would not elaborate.

TBI Director Mark Gwyn declined to say if drugs were involved in the slayings but said drugs are involved in 90 to 95 percent of all crime.
