am hoping to hear more about the phone call Jimmie made from a payphone close to his house on the night of the murders to Billy's cell phone

Significant detail outlined by Sgt. Evans: Between 11:47 pm 7/18/10 and 12:14 am 7/19/10 - 27 minutes later - call from Turner's phone pinged at an entirely different location, from what is close to Turner's home to close to the Lorenzen crime scene, about three miles away.

Sgt. Evans: we believe - based on cell phone data - Billy Turner went to Sherra Wright's home (cell phone pinged coverage area of that Collierville home). Calls in that area were in 8 and 9 pm hour evening of 7/18/10, hours before Lorenzen Wright's shooting death early 7/19/10.

Prosecution responds by conceding that investigators CANNOT get GPS BUT we have to rely on data we have, that's cell tower call data which does NOT have specific location but direction in AREA of where call was placed. Prosecutor adds that completed phone calls CAN be under :45.

Sgt. Evans also reiterates coverage from different cell phone tower networks still overlapped between where Wright's phone pinged and Turner's phone pinged minutes apart. He also notes 30 minutes to an hour long gaps between phone activity on Turner's phone night of homicide.
 
Hi everyone! This is my first post in this thread about the Lorenzen Wright murder. I have been following the trial through the Law and Crime Network videos on You Tube. I have finished listening to the first two days of trial. I had a question about Lorenzen's schedule while he was visiting his family in July 2010. I thought his mother said that he was in Memphis to attend his daughter Loren's baby shower. However, when the investigator was on the stand, he mentioned that Lorenzen went to pick up his son, who had been playing basketball somewhere, on the evening he was murdered. Lorenzen took his son to Sherra Wright's address. On the following day, Lorenzen was supposed to fly back to Atlanta with some of his children. When was the baby shower supposed to fit in Lorenzen's schedule? Thanks in advance!

Martin is a so-called unindicted co-conspirator. According to court documents, Martin told investigators he helped clean up the crime scene and traveled with accused #LorenzenWright killer Billy Turner (on trial) to toss the murder weapon in a Walnut, MS lake.

Prosecutor Paul Hagerman goes over 2012 document of immunity agreement, a memorandum of understanding. Agreement required Jimmie Martin to tell the full truth about details of Lorenzen Wright's death & if HE DID, he would be granted immunity & not face any charges or indictments.
