Does Juan follow up after juror questions or does the cheerful perky Mrs Willmott go first?

Someone is telling her about people looking at her and catching her slipping things under her desk, to the mitigation specialist and to her lawyer. She thrives on the attention. IMO - she knows this will be all over the news tonight or tomorrow.

Well, F U JA. For the one you hold up, there are a million pointing right back at you from the supporters of Travis Alexander!

Oh wow, thanks! I just thought that selective amnesia was a sarcastic question from a juror who knows the killer is still lying. I didn't realize it was an actual thing. But the good doctor lied anyway, or he doesn't know his book so... :/

I do hope the jurors are asking questions they know the answer to ;)

Had to bump this - it's hilarious! :floorlaugh:

I really loved the part where they say she could tell the jury how many bubbles were in her boyfriends beer six years ago, but now we need a fog machine in the courtroom......:floorlaugh:

For those who missed it, and the several whom have been asking, I'm bringing over the haircut question from the previous thread.

The juror's haircut question went mostly like this:

"You said that sexual intercourse and immersion in hot or cold water could cause transient global amnesia. Is that list exhaustive, or could other types of trauma -- for example the kind of trauma induced by a bad haircut -- cause it too?"

It's so awesome because they were basically saying, "Then throw us out of the courtroom," knowing that the court would be paralyzed to do so without reaping an army of vigilantes!

Exactly. I also fail to see how this could become an issue on appeal. "Dear Court Of Appeals: The victim's family wore ribbons to support their loved one and that was SO UNFAIR TO ME! ::hairflip::"

No. I don't think so.

I'm curious to know what, exactly, almost 500,000 has been spent on, because it sure hasn't been an effective defense. jmo

I am kind of worried about the family's decision to keep the ribbons on. Although I sympathize, and would probably do the same thing if it was my brother, I am worried that it could become an appeals issue down the line.

Thats almost like asking them to sit on our side of the aisle so as not to sway the jury. Ribbons or no ribbons, i don't think that anyone can believe that the jury can be swayed by something so trivial.

Back from work... Ok so from what I heard today, Doc Samuels jury questions seem to disqualify his diagnosis?

Oh WOW! The doctor dx'd her with an 'Other' personality disorder? Fab!

How do you diagnose a PD and not even try to find out which PD? Or more likely in her case, which combination of PD she has?

Seriously. It's like telling a patient they have cancer but not what type of cancer. And still not beginning any treatment for it.

My thinking is he probably didn't want to go any further to diagnosis it, because if he did it wouldn't have been helpful to her case. By the way did anyone catch a look at her face when he made the "other" personality disorder comment. I have a feeling JA wouldn't "likey" that answer.

Maybe the family wasn't asked to take them off? Maybe non-family?

Juan escorted them to a private room after the DT appealed to the judge to ban the ribbons. It was my understanding that this was to explain to them that they would have to take them off.

Huh? Busted? How? And if she did, I seriously doubt that it would be broadcast in open court. :waitasec:

This morning, as court was getting started, Wilmott was bustling around Miss Thing, clearing an area all around her on the desk, taking things out of her reach. By the time Wilmott was done, the ONLY things within the reach of JA were a SINGLE styrofoam cup and a piece of paper. And probably a golf pencil.

I think the family should be allowed to have the ribbons on in court. I would see a problem if the entire courtroom, with the exception of JA's family, has them on, which they did. Who wouldn't want to support Travis? I'm glad the supporters took them off. I believe some of the media was wearing them as well. Only Travis's family should be allowed to have them on during the proceedings. :twocents:

I would hope Travis' family would be given a pass.

I was wondering where the knife came from and how it ended up to be in the bathroom. Vinnie Politan just said she brought her own. That is very glaring, speaks to pre meditation.
