Exactly snoofer!!! If he didn't sexually assault Tori or kill her where is all the evidence? If the car seat has no evidence of sexual assault by him you'd think it would have been a good idea for him to tell LE where it is. Instead he left everyone wondering why he took it out...

Just because LE never found the seat, it doesn't mean that MTR didn't tell them what he did with it. He very well could have told them that he took it to the dump or that he put it out to the curb. If he did do this weeks before he was arrested, it's feasible that by this time it was impossible to find. Pretty sure there were old reports about what happens to items at the dumps and how frequently. But even if MTR didn't tell them, that would be part of his instructions by his lawyer to not say a thing.

It does not matter to me one bit what her motivation was for giving her story about what happened and the location of where VS was. Im greatful that she was brought home to her family to provide closure and given a proper burial.

Now, if the jury can just see that both TLM and MR were present when they abducted and murdered VS....then IMO justice will be served!!!!

I have often wondered had TLM not been willing to help LE in telling them where Tori was, would she still be out there? How long would it have been before someone stumbled upon her remains...or would they ever have?

Don't get me wrong, just because TLM "helped" police find Tori, in no way even begins to make up for her part in the murder.

JMO, TLM did far more than simply change her story a couple of times.

Prior to the abduction of VS, TLM wrote in letters and her journal of her desre to commit crimes, with many details exactly as they were committed in this case. A coincidence?

Through her lawyer, she stated her desire to help find the body and plead guilty to the crime to help the family. She then proceeded to lie to them during the Agreed Statement of Facts at her sentencing hearing. While she sobbed, whimpered and wept, she accused MR of killing VS...........and all the time knowing that she was the real killer and she was lying to a grieving family.

She allowed the family, LE, and the Crown believe that story, until Jan 2012 and then confessed to killing VS. Why the sudden sense of honour after all that time had passed? Maybe because she didn't know if LE had recovered the hammer or not, but she knew there would only be 1 set of fingerprints on it........and those would be hers?

I remember reading an article where her lawyer described how she and TLM wept together over the case. And yet, through all the tears, TLM didn't confess to killing VS. She allowed her lawyer to believe that MR did it. Was that a sign of true remorse?

After she was sent to jail...........TLM told a family member that it was unfortunate that a little girl was involved, but she had no real regrets and would do it again.

TLM is insane. She has no moral sense and is incapable of remorse. The only thing she cares about is her own survival, and she lies and manipulates to accomplish that goal.

She changed her story on who decided to buy the hammer.

Why did she think it necessary to buy a hammer and garbage bags?

After all this........people still want to believe parts of her story?

Other than her story, we don't know what they did at that location. Perhaps they all walked around the area for a bathroom break. We may get a better sense when the defense begins it version of events.

Knowing the surroundings doesn't make TLM any more trustworthy in my opinion.

TLM is a liar no matter which way you slice it! Either she lied when she signed off on the agreed statement of facts, or she lied when she confessed that it was she who murdered Tori. All this garbage about her wanting to help the family is ridiculous! Since when is kidnapping, murdering and hiding a body of help to a family? Imagine how TOri's family must now feel hearing a new version of events? Rod in particular must be really struggling since it was HE who had the fortitude to THANK this woman for confessing and helping them to find Tori's remains - the remains that SHE left out in the forrest in a garbage bag like trash. :twocents:

I have an alternate idea to propose here:
What if MR has not given up the details on the location of the car seat because he is afraid that maybe TLM did something to Tori on the back seat that might show up in forensic testing? :twocents: Just something to think about.
