GUILTY TX - Elizabeth Ennen, 15, Lubbock, 5 January 2011

Sounds as if there had be a struggle/assault in the room prior to leaving the room. She wouldn't have coward in the corner of the exit had she not already been scared out of her mind. I just wish she would have have kicked, screamed brought attention to the circumstances?
Hind sight I know but I wonder what the occupancy of the motel was that night and if anyone heard anything?

First I've read on this and this is so sad...bless her heart, running holding her shoes and trying to put on her coat. What is wrong with these people??? I pray for Elizabeth to come home safely. She must have been so scared. :(

Okay... if you simply see a teenage girl with an "old man" at a dollar store, what is your first thought? :waitasec:

I doubt it is "why is she with that man, he's so old?" Unless they are like making out, I assume the girl is his daughter, or niece, or granddaughter if he's really old.

So if this woman isn't totally exaggerating or making this up... what was he doing to this girl to make her think that? :waitasec:

"According to EverythingLubbock.com, Dena Boswell claimed she saw Elizabeth with her alleged kidnapper at a Dollar General in West Lubbock...on January 17th.

"What I seen when I parked coming from over here was an older man and a young girl and my first impression was oh my gosh that beautiful little girl why is she with that man he's so old?

When she passed me that look that she gave me that is a look that i will forever have in my mind. you could tell that she was just not right she wasn't right the situation was not right for her to be in," said Boswell."

Elizabeth was taken somewhere between 12:01 am and 12:29 am.

That is the timeframe, and that is the search radius.

Now we have something.

Then, he came back to the hotel and left again for another 30 minutes. So he could have gone back to the same location to finish covering up his crime. But, she's got to be within a half an hour round trip.

Also depending on his vehicle, he may have been unable to drive off roads. So their search area would then be limited to places he could drive to or drive to then walk to, then get back to the hotel in 30 minutes.

That narrows it down significantly.

I wonder if they have taken HRD dogs out there to see if they can pick up anything...

I feel so horrible for this girl and for her family to have to see her running scared and being abducted. How horrible to have that be your last memory of your daughter. I hope EE is found alive but it's not looking good for her. How terribly sad and infuriating!

I literally wish water boarding was legal to make these sick people talk! What did you do with her and where is she?!!! This is ridiculous, what is wrong with people!!! :furious:

Didn't one of the posts say that they (suspect, wife, sister) were going to a casino? While she babysat? Is there a casino within 15 minutes?

I find it hard to believe that the Dollar Store sighting was really her...12 days later, she is walking around a store with him? I'll be very surprised if true. Does this store have tape, I wonder?

I thought I read she was going to play bingo

It would have to be an underground casino. Casinos are illegal in Texas, but there are plenty of them if you know the "right people."

Corner of Elm and E. 58th street is what I am thinking. Pretty remote and desolate, but close enough to be probable.

I agree on that location.

Also, to the east, just past the Logistics center and a little south from there is what looks like a gravel pit site where people would dig for gravel/dirt for construction projects. That would be easy to access and hide a body fairly easily.

I grew up in Lubbock and pass by the Carriage (House) Inn when I visit.

It is an industrial part of the city. The poster who stated about a 10 mile radius is correct in my estimation. At that time of night, he would be able to drive about 10-12 miles before turning around.

However, that doesn't leave much time for indecision. If he disposed of a body, IMO, he'd have to know exactly where to go.

This is one event where they should head STRAIGHT to the landfill and see what was dumped in the days after she was reported missing.

Lubbock has no storm drains. Everything drains into what are called playa lakes in local parks. Just west of the hotel are two of these drainage type lakes. There are a lot of these in Lubbock, but not many outside of Lubbock. They aren't that deep and if a body was disposed of there, it would need weighing down.

He might have been able to make it to Buffalo Springs Lake in that time, but again, he'd have to know a ravine to dump a body in.

Lubbock is very flat so a body would stand out on the surface.

Are these playa lakes normally fenced? I look at a couple in google street view and they were completely encased with fence. Just not sure if this is the case with all the locations.

TIA

No, they are generally accessible to the public as they are part of the park system. I've fished in several.

I hope LE is getting any surveillance camera footage from these businesses. That's what broke Jonathan's case wide open.

This guy gives me the willies bigtime!

Did he have dirt on his shoes, or did the vehicle have any, when he returned to the motel? Did mom see any?

And let's hope it doesn't take them another 17 days to ask for them. The tapes could be recorded over by then!
