HLN-Dr. Drew discussed this case tonight, and ooooh! You know how they really dog criminals out, well they really tore into her. They called her worse than CA, worse than JA and a flat out psychopath (he's a dr-I believe his opinion) who cannot ever be incorporated into society because she has such a warped & callous mind.

In a recorded interview with Muniz, played to the jury, Detective Chris Jones said: 'I'm going to be straight-up honest with you: There are issues with your story. You brought up that Grace had duct tape on her when that was never mentioned. How did you know if you were unconscious?'
He added that the time frame was unrealistic, saying the six minutes between the 911 call and authorities' arrival was 'not realistic' for an intruder to physically and sexually assault two people.

Emily Ward is satisfied that justice was served, but she is clearly not finished serving. She is working on the Amazing Grace Project, a documentary film about raising awareness of child abuse...

Ward said her project is also providing support to families dealing with Child Protective Services because, in her heart, she feels her daughter's case fell through the cracks. The family detailed abuses three times over a six-month span.

Awww, sounds like little Gracie and I share a birthday. Poor little thing didn't deserve all that. I hope she's happy and well wherever it is one goes after life. :-(

Seems her mother EW has completely turned her life around and is now happily married and expecting another little girl in December.

This is one of those "remember forever" cases. It's always interesting to me to see how bereaved parents handle the rest of their lives after, particularly in regards to having other children. I'm not judging who has babies when or who doesn't, I just find it interesting. I lost my son when I was still young and it's a question people ask(ed)... Shrug
