I think the evidence is substantial enough to say that Corrie is at the landfill site having fell asleep in the bin. There’s nothing sinister about it, he had done this previously and it’s the most logical explanation. Such a shame for his family.

You say he had fallen asleep in a bin previously, where was that stated please. Do you have a link?

As for being good-looking, plenty of Armed Forces personnel that fit that category. So why Corrie in particular and for what intention?

I just started reading the thread #1 right from the start and of course it sounds strange, that there was a young man in danger just few weeks before Corrie in the same area. Perhaps they just got lucky this time with Corrie.

And in subsequent reports terrorist links were dismissed. And, as has been asked, why wasn't it publicised by the kidnappers, as usually happens when they have hostages? I mean, no-one has claimed responsibility and wouldn't it have more impact and be more frightening if a terrorist group said look how easy it is for us to snatch someone in the military? Because at the moment it's "Corrie most likely went with rubbish after drinking" and most people carry on with their lives at Honington, albeit with a serious reinforcement of station orders regarding use of social media and conduct when socialising.

"Mr Mckeague said his son was "known to sleep in and on top of bins, a fact that has been corroborated by Suffolk Police from their interviews"."

It's from first-hand eyewitness statements. Hearsay is quoting people who are not present in a court, something completely different to having seen something happen. This has been discussed before.

Can not presume somebody dead without a body! I think personally he's alive and at this time don't want to be found hope it's right.

I disagree with you.

Have you heard about 9/11 over here in the States? Many, many bodies never located, yet those people are presumed dead... People are declared dead everyday without a tangible body as proof, and people are even convicted of crimes without a tangible body as proof. Those determinations are made by looking at the situation and minutiae as a whole and arriving at a logical conclusion that the person is dead. It's much more common than you think.

I wish you would provide some insight as to how you came to the conclusion that Corrie just walked out of his life on a whim and is happily living somewhere incognito. You're very insistent, which makes me think that you genuinely believe this theory. Perhaps if you shared your reasoning, it might seem a bit more plausible to those of us who disagree.

You can make a claim for a ‘declaration of presumed death’ from the High Court if someone you know in England and Wales has been missing for:
  • 7 years or more
  • less than 7 years and you think they’ve died, for example they went missing during a natural disaster
Get a declaration of presumed death

I don't recall seeing this suggestion anywhere in the thread, either?

I'm a bit offended, lol. I obviously can't vouch for all 23000 posts but it certainly wasn't ever a recurring theory, I was shocked when I read it.

23 threads trying to be helpful and we get a public mention for that. Super.

Deaths of homeless people sleeping in bins prompt calls for action

In the Guardian today an article about the people dying because they slept in bins. It's focused on the homeless people they have known to be killed in this way, so no mention of Corrie, but interesting to see that companies like Biffa have known for the last 5 years that this could be an issue and are supposedly working towards making it easier to find people before anything serious happens.
