'Forever in our hearts you’ll stay': Tributes for missing Southampton woman
FAMILY and friends of a Southampton woman last seen almost two years ago have paid tribute to her memory.
“Forever in our hearts you’ll stay. We will love you and remember you every single day,” was the message stamped on balloons for Joanne Sheen.
On Saturday, her daughters, Hayley and Layla, led a procession of around 30 people from the White Swan off Mansbridge Road to nearby Riverside Park.
They released balloons and cast flowers into the River Itchen to show they “are still thinking of her and she is still in their hearts”.
FAMILY and friends of a Southampton woman last seen almost two years ago have paid tribute to her memory.

Hampshire police have today released a new appeal and video in the search for information that may assist officers in locating missing 44-year-old as part of an ongoing murder investigation.
Joanne's last known corroborated sighting was on Thursday 5 December when she travelled from Fareham, back to Southampton, with a friend.
Do you know anything? Has someone mentioned Joanne or provided any information to Joanne's links? You must come forward and help police bring closure for Joanne's family.
On Friday 17 April last year police launched a public appeal try and help them find Joanne. Since that time they have been conducting a number of enquiries and looking at new information that could help locate her.
A team of professionally trained officers conducted a thorough search of the area surrounding Empress Road, including the river that runs adjacent to it.
Police are appealing again to anyone who may have seen or spoken to Joanne since the last sighting of her in December 2019, or anyone who has any information that may help locate her.
Joanne is described as being white, around 5 feet 1 inches tall, of slim build with long dark brown hair.
Joanne is still missing and her body has not been recovered.
Four men and a 30 year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, but later released with no further action.
Specialist officers are continuing to support Joanne’s family throughout this difficult time.

We wanted to update you on our investigation into the disappearance of Joanne Sheen from Southampton.
Mother of three Joanne - known as Jo - was 44 when she was reported missing by her family on 22 February, 2020.
The last known corroborated sighting we have of Jo is on Thursday, 5 December in 2019 when she travelled from Fareham, back to Southampton, with a friend.
However, there have been other unconfirmed sightings of Jo before Christmas 2019 in the Southampton area.
We have been conducting enquiries ever since to find her.
New information recently came to light which led us to search under the pier next to Mayflower Park.
Last month, officers from our Marine Unit searched the area for several hours.
Items including trainers and a handbag were found and will be examined further to establish whether or not they are of relevance to this investigation.
DI Toby Elcock is leading the investigation. He said: “We hope this search shows that we remain dedicated to finding out what happened to Jo and that we will pursue all lines of enquiry available to us.
“Someone out there must know what happened to her. Please get in touch with us – no matter how insignificant you think the information you have might be, it could be that crucial piece in the puzzle that leads us to Jo.”

A CASH reward is being offered in a bid to find a Southampton mum who was last seen almost three years ago.
Joanne Sheen, a loving mum of three, was last seen in December 2019.
Police have launched multiple searches for her across the city since she was reported missing by her family in early 2020.
Now, the charity Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to £20,000 for any information that helps find Joanne.

I live not far from Fareham and follow FB pages such as Hampshirelive etc , I had an update yesterday pop up about Joannes case and a new arrest. Im trying to find it so I can post the link. Hope Joanne gets justice

Yes it does appear the police put out a post about an arrest but it’s been taken down and no news source has reported the story.

Jo Sheen was reported missing by her family on 22 February this year after they had not heard from her for several months.
Four people were initially arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.
Officers have now arrested a fifth person, a 53-year-old man from Southampton, on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. He remains in police custody at this time.
The 63-year-old man, 50-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were released under investigation.
The 29-year-old man was bailed with conditions.
Enquiries are ongoing.
Like i said previously this police post with the new arrest has disappeared so I imagine it doesn’t stand anymore.
