It's not illegal everywhere.
The only message we are sending to our country's young people by prohibiting marijuana is that we are a bunch of hypocrites.
I'm not talking about the message we are sending by prohibiting marijuana.
I feel it sends a horrible message to celebrate something that is illegal.
I would feel the same way no matter what crime was being committed.
If bubble gum was illegal I would think it was horrible to have a day where everybody said, screw it I'm chewing bubble gum.
IMO things that are illegal should not be celebrated.
IMO it sends a horrible message about lack of respect for laws and authority.
I have no problem with legalizing it. IMO we should just wait to celebrate in public until that day comes.
ETA: I need to change that!
I do have a problem with legalizing it. I don't want to see it legal.
But, that was not the point if my opinion.
And if it was legal, I wouldn't have a problem with stoners celebrating 4/20.
I hope this makes sense.
I believe laws should be respected.
