I have been looking for the relatives and/or friends of this woman... I cannot even find her husbands name.... Can anybody help me here?
I can try - a general search on newspapers.com and newspaperarchive do not yield any results. On a google search I did come across "full text of "Virginia Beach Sun" (newspaper) from Nov 1990 - snip below. No real additional info, however, the article states she was last seen on Sunday, September 3 - not September 4 as noted in her case file. Perhaps that was the reported date. It also includes the home address. I will post anything else I find.
Charlene Villinger Still Missing
Virginia Beach Crime Solvers
would like the community's help in
locating Charlene Marie Villinger,
who has been missing for more
than a year. Her disappearance is
suspicious and she has not been
heard from or seen since Sept. 3,
1989.
On that Sunday evening, shortly
after 10 p.m., Villinger's husband
returned to their home in the 900
block of Penhook Court in. the
Glenwood section of Virginia Beach
and found her missing.
There was no sign of a struggle
and none of her personal belongings
were missing, including her car,
which was in the driveway.
Villinger was a student at Tide-
water Community College and is
described as white, 32 years old,
S'd" tall and 160 pounds. She has
wavy brown hair to ho* shoulders, a
medium complexion, and a tattoo
of a Pink Panther on her left
shoulder blade. Villinger was last
seen wearing a white T-shirt and

white slacks with blue and red dots.
Anyone with information about
her disappearance is asked to call
Crime Solvers at 427-0000. All
calls are confidential and callers will
not have to give their name. If in-
formation leads to an arrest, callers
will receive a cash reward of up to
$1,000.
