Casual clothes could just be citizens of Arizona used to hotness of temps.

Is this ok to post?

oops not doing good with the pics....

I tried getting on this am & couldn't! I posted a frantic SOS on Tricia's FB page. :scared:

My ISP had a nationwide outage earlier today....it seems to be back (but) spotty :scared:
They said it could be going on and off all day :panic:

I think it is cool that almost everyone on HLN has on Blue.

Oh duh! I guess that they are just there for deliberations! Whew! I sure wish I could follow more closely so that I don't get out of real happenings, but, alas, real life calls!

Dear fellow WSers,

Please accept my sincere apologies for my little rant and melt down yesterday. There is something about this particular case that has gotten deeply under my normally tougher hide. When there was no verdict yesterday...well. No excuses. I was out of line and I'm sorry.

Glad you're back! Hopefully we'll have a verdict today! :great:

:floorlaugh: LOVE this post!

I like my coffee simple and black. I even toss back an occasional espresso. For JA, I'd bring in an extra large strawberry frappe - then make a huge display of throwing it in the nearest trash can, untouched. :blushing:

You just want to see the killer drool like a rabid dog and cry like a little girl - :floorlaugh:

Has this been posted here? http://twitdoc.com/upload/zou2/ja-letter-from-jodi-mom-to-judge-re-nurmi-motion-to-withdraw.pdf

It's a letter from Jodi's mother attempting to keep Kirk Nurmi from leaving the case as he wanted to do. I am not trying to be mean it just brings up questions for me as I find some of it really bizarre. In it she writes...

Jodi doesn't deserve to be tried for the death penalty.
That has nothing to do with keeping Nurmi on the case. Speaking of Mr. Nurmi...

Where do his legal and moral obligations lie?
If you question his morals why would you write letters forcing him to stay on a DP for your child? Not to mention, how good of a job do you think he is going to do when he is forced to stay on a case he doesn't want? And that the client's own mother questions his morals? Common sense, where did it go? Get rid of him and hope the next person up has morals. That would be the very first thing I'd do.

She has been able to help other inmates by singing for them, writing poems, doing drawings for them and also helping them with reading and writing.
The things Jodi does becuase she is bored do not go toward being an exemplary inmate. Singing, drawing pictures and writing poems is not "helping people". It's just stuff Jodi is doing while she sits in a locked pod.

I am not trying to be mean, I know her running to the papers with the bunk pedophile letters and other actions were out of desperation but much of this letter is the exact opposite of what I would think someone would write when their daughter's attorney wants nothing more to do with them.

What, she couldn't take 2 minutes to proof-read this mess? Doesn't she have spell check? I'm sorry, but if you're writing a letter to a judge, don't make yourself look like an idjeet.

MOO

BBM~ Sorry, that's just too funny.

:floorlaugh:

I am pretty sure we will get a verdict this morning, and here is why. I have to take my elderly aunt to her bingo tournament and so I will be away from the computer. I will take my ipad and hope to grab some wifi somewhere. Anyway, I will take a hit for the team and step away so the verdict can be announced soon.

Tulessa, I was wondering how you and others who have gone through the court system were doing with the waiting.

We're here for you.

I think this may be my last trial. Of course I said that after the CA verdict also, but this brings back so many memories. It's hard, but I keep remembering how others were there for me.

Yes. Willmott has left the building along with DP mit specialist.

Good morning...

Tried to attach a video link, but I am decidedly link impaired.

morning has broken, by Cat Stevens. (Memories)

Reports are saying all jurors are dressed casually. Ack!! My husband might win our bet. I said verdict today and he said verdict tomorrow.

I don't read anything into the way they're dressed. If they convict her of Murder 1, they have to begin the penalty phase and are not allowed to speak to media and know this.

I don't think it matters how the jurors are dressed. They will not be doing interviews if its a guilty verdict. The penalty phase will begin..

:seeya: I agree ... I don't care if the jury is dressed in their "pajamas" !

:drumroll: I just want to see a FIRST DEGREE PRE-MED MURDER Verdict !

Everyone go and get McDonald's!!! Miracles happen when you eat McDonald's!!!

Nervous energy today while waiting for the verdict. Praying for everyone and JUSTICE for Travis!!!!

Mornin' Peeps! :seeya:

Still deep in finals so I can't stay tethered to you all, unfortunately. :frown:

But, I'll be with you in spirit! :justice:

BTW, I know there have been a ton of posts about text sources for the verdict, but can anyone please tell me what would be a good and reliable source for a text of the announcement? TIA.

JUSTICE FOR TRAVIS!!!

@WildAboutTrial Mike B. is here in a nice blue top blue tie combo. Still in hallway with everyone else. #JodiArias

Isn't Mike B the court reporter? Does the blue tie/blue top combo mean he is on board for some JUSTICE for Travis?
