Plus, didn't the tape start with the conversation already in progress, iirc the first 15 min. aren't heard?

Here is what I think happened on that day. I think the killer believed that they were going to play that EDITED VERSION of the sex tape. And I think she wanted her daddy and brother to hear how vulgar and mean Travis was to her.

Remember how visibly upset she was when she came out of chambers? She realized then that the entire tape was about to be played for them, and her little game backfired once again.

There was probably a mechanical issue with the car, and the blame was to be on uHaul. BMW's are not cheap to fix. I don't think he cared about the money for the car.

But somewhere it has been mentioned that Travis was in financial difficulties towards the end.

Maybe Jodi did something to damage Travis financially? Like jumping ship to another PPL rep? re: the scamming part?

Aren't all these so called financial issues coming from the mouth of JA? We don't have a clue as to why he wanted to borrow $4K from the Hughes?

A Psychologist goes to Medical School, gets an MD, then specializes in Psychology. They "diagnose" the patients, and determine the medical treatment, ie appropriate medications. They are Physicians. They can write prescriptions, hospitalize patients etc. There are also PHD's, who are also called "Dr. and have a doctorate in psychology. As part of treatment, a Psychologist may recommend the patient see a "therapist" as well. Think talk therapy.

A Psychotherapist, requires a Master's degree, and specific licensing per the State requirements where they practice. They are "counselors" who generally do individual or family therapy, and some specialize in something, like LV considers herself a "specialist" so to speak, in Domestic Violence. Some of her credentials are questionable to me, but I do not live in California, and things may be more lax there.

Respectfully, no where I've ever lived or worked do psychologists go to medical school. Only psychiatrists do. Some states allow them to write prescriptions but they are not MD's. If the laws have changed provide the link.

Really? I thought the same thing! That was the only time I saw real emotions from her. TA had it right saying she only cries for herself! I don't doubt that she "cries a lot" but I think she does it to manipulate... It's only real when she doesn't get her way.

We know it and I'm sure the Jurors know it, too.....She hid her face while fake-crying on the stand, remember?

I can't remember if it was a text or email but somewhere he said something like, "I don't need this stress in my life [Jodi], I'm focused on trying to save my house."

ETA: she's taking friend requests by the looks. I'm annoyed, but intrigued.

I hope ALV and the DT enjoy seeing how JA is allowing her FB page to be updated with photos of Travis, you know, the person who she claims abused her.

Not only is she a narcissist, but she's dumber than a box of rocks.

Did she perjure herself? Will J. Martinez make a motion to have all of her testimony struck from the record? And will she have to pay all the $$ back she has wrongly charged the state for her "services"?

Well, I was ready to get a good nights sleep...now I will toss and turn and stew all night over Jodi's facebook page..that is just sick to have all those pictures of someone she murdered and mutilated on her page... It has really got me upset.

Does anyone else remember the testimony (I believe from JA) that a friend of hers from work wanted to buy it and offered $4,000 or $4,500 for it but Travis turned it down because he could get more for it? Was I dreaming that?

It has been a rough 24 hours for me. I found out last night that my dear friends husband and her 16 year old nephew were killed in a horrific car accident on highway 1 in Sonoma yesterday. According to an eye witness his car drifted across the center divider and crashed into a tree- it was 11:30 in the morning. The car exploded on impact and by the time the firetruck arrived 15 minutes later the car had melted in to the asphalt. I have known the 16 yo since he was a newborn baby.

Oh goodness, Frigga. That is so very tragic. It's horrible to lose a friend at any age, but it's especially heartbreaking when a young person's life is cut short like that. My deepest condolences. (((hugs)))
