He says he didn't go around toting guns, but has video of him shooting a gun with his daughter in January. He says he didn't go around toting guns, but a witness says he had two in the hotel room. He says he didn't have ammunition but LE found ammo in a hotel room where he was living. He says he didn't have ammo, but a witness saw him stash in the hotel room.

And, he says he didn't hurt A.J.

For WH to stick to that story he would have to accuse the young 'witness' , who he regaled with stories about the good old crime days, of being the one who placed the ammo in the vents. I wonder if he is going to start 'naming names' of people he is accusing of framing him. I kind of hope so because then everything will come crashing down on him really fast.

I think all of these new charges are just telling us that LE thinks they have the right guy in jail. I think they believe he was the one who is responsible for her demise. As Wes said " she departed my presence ..." :rose:

My first thoughts when reading these articles and affadavits/criminal complaints...Hadsell says over and over how much he cared about Anjelica and his other children, yet when it came down to it, he obviously cared more about his drugs, weapons, and ammo. He had been in so much trouble before! He had a toddler! Did he not think or care that he would be found with this ammo and FEDERAL charges could come?? Like Taylor Swift, I'll ask Wes....was it worth it? were the guns and ammo and drugs and bragging worth it?? He doesn't strike me as a changed man.

As always, his word choices give him away. He says he didn't put the ammunition in his hotel room, that he didn't put it in the air duct. He says that as a felon, he 'wouldn't' have it. He doesn't say it wasn't HIS. (granted, we are reading snippets, I know!)

You know, my gut says one thing about WH but my analytical mind says "but what if..." (mostly because the local LE haven't given any statements to rule those doubts out). With the glaring absence of LE statements, I'm just not 100% comfortable saying or thinking WH is 100% guilty of all most of us think he is. If that makes sense.

For example, what if WH didn't actually put that ammo in that hotel room? What if, someone else did? Someone with the sole purpose of doing it so he'd get caught with it. It's entirely possible he's not actually lying about this (although I suspect he probably is) and if that's the case, it really changes things.

Contrary to what some may think, LE officers arent monsters. They have a heart and many of them are fathers with daughters of their own.

That being said, if WH broke into that house to find evidence of someone who hurt his daughter, dont you think that LE would have at least a grudging respect for him?

Early on when WH was first arrested, the public had painted him as some kind of hero who did all the wrong things for the all the right reasons.

Now as time has gone on, were seeing that WH is about as far from being a hero as anyone can get.

If LE is going after him this gung ho, theres a reason behind that.......and probably one that the general public isnt privy too.

I agree. I hope AJ's sisters and Zach are taken into consideration as still in pain and turmoil while any answers escape them. I realize her mom thinks it could have been anybody and that half of them think the other half did it, or said as much here and there, whether one wanted to hear it or not.

Whoever knows what happened to AJ must have known her and seems most likely related to her, which ever combination it ends up being, it seems to me.

Thanks to everyone for all the great links and details on this recent news about WH's charges.

A few questions I'm pondering...

Are federal charges a good or bad thing for WH in this case? What's the impact of one Federal charge versus numerous Norfolk City charges?

Are federal court records and the ability to seal court records different for federal charges? Just wondering if this helps keep information under wraps for LE in some way.

Why now? What changed or happened to spur this "transfer" to the fed system after almost 6 months?
Is this a routine occurrence within the corrections system? Is it just because he's already a convicted felon on previous federal charges?

Anyone familiar with how things like this work?

Just wondering what, if anything, this all might mean. I'm hoping its somehow positive progress. AJ deserves some positive progress.
