What does the jury think happened today?

I personally don't think think this "illness" was planned nor was it faked.

I think it was a physical reaction to being overmedicated yesterday in anticipation of this detailed, damaging testimony.

When trial began yesterday morning, I immediately noticed a change in KC's eyes, expression and weird eye movements and even posted about it. I think the DT was hoping to have KC medicated enough to show NO emotion or demeanor as they know they have failed in their attempts to get her to react as a "grieving mother".

Speculating that her "illness" is due to her reaction to what was publicized in court yesterday are just not logical. KC has NOT shown what we could deem as a "normal reaction" to ANYTHING in this situation so don't think she would be capable of feeling a "Normal reaction" now....

She obviously didn't have a "normal reaction" when given the news that a child's remains were discovered as that video was deemed too prejudicial AGAINST her, which means to me that she was DISTRAUGHT but something quite the opposite...RAGE perhaps?

Remember JA speech during hearing when KC told AL "MAKE HIM STOP!"? That, to me, was the beginning of an emotion of RAGE building in KC and I suspect that same reaction was starting to build yesterday, but the rise in blood pressure, etc had an ADVERSE REACTION to the sedative aspect of whatever medication she is currently being given.

HHJP spent several minutes on the phone in courtroom before recessing court. I don't think he would have taken this action if she was just "ill". Who was he talking to? I suspect he was making arrangements for someone (Dr.) to travel TO the jail to avoid a media onslaught at a local ER.

I suspect we will see a totally different demeanor in KC this morning after her DT was "thwarted" over medication yesterday.....we will see....

She is ACTING - it took several eye pokes and a few minutes to get a couple of tears squeezed out. Before the tears her face showed extreme anger at the ME.

She is sick that the focus is on Caylee and not poor mistreated her.

Yes, I captured the tail-end of that first poke.....She is so predictable.
I know that when I'm stressed or anxious I suddenly notice I've been holding my breath. It's possible it was an unconscious symptom of anxiety, but this is ICA and I am too jaded now. I think she tried to make herself faint....but as usual, she failed.

Which made me wonder - do you all know her friend Robyn Adams is back with her AGAIN! I read on WESH she was re-arrested (but don't know if she's being housed next to ICA).

Consciousness of guilt will always shine through...the entire time Caylee's skeletal remains were shown and described, she never looked at the computer screen. She had her head down (shame), shoulders down (defeat) and was smacked with the reality of what she's done to her beautiful child whom she reduced to bones when she threw her away like common household trash...not to mention the duct tape removes the accident theory...

I do hope those jurors do see it as we see it, for ICA is the 'great pretender'!...JMHO

Just to remain strictly on topic, I've watched the "Casey Becomes Ill" video and I still think she faked most of it. Definitely she faked the "crying" during the morning session. She may have felt a bit uneasy in the afternoon, but it looked to me like someone who tries to fake illness to get out of responsibilities. I'm sure she has a lifetime history of doing just that.

While Mason and Baez appeared to be concerned as they watched the guards escort her away, I'm thinking they were just enjoying the performance. Sorry, Casey, I just can't muster any sympathy for you. It's about Caylee, not you.

I do believe her TEAM reminded her to show some "tears" today. "Wipe your eyes, wipe your face, wipe your nose, wipe your eyes...Try to look sad..." She only succeeded in looking fake.

The way she was escorted out of the courtroom, reminded me of someone with a bad back, her walk had nothing to do with a quezy stomach aches..so why so dramatic? She's an actress, she's fake, she has no real emotions nor does she know how to show 'true' emotions...I also feel she was trying to garner sympathy but she gets none from me..I have to keep remembering ICA is the 'great pretender'...if reality is hitting her, she should save her own life and accept that LWOP...could be she sees that her act is over.

After reading Dr. Utz's report, I knew this testimony would be powerful testimony. However, coupled with the crime scene photos, IMO it was a bombshell. I think the jurors concluded that KC was "not feeling well". I was watching her on the screen and IMO she started withering when he was testifying regarding the duct tape and hair mat. She drank about 3 bottles of water during his testimony IIRC. By the time Mr. Ashton came to the picture of little Caylee's shorts, it was all over. However, IMO and MOO this was a defense tactic, but that's another subject. I think the jury knew she was the reason for the recess. She IMO was acting out all morning, from the time the first investigator took the stand to the time SH from the ME's office testified. But it was all over when Dr. Utz was testifying and I think she wanted the jury to think she just couldn't handle it. Whatever.

I think it was a ploy on her part to divert the attention from the situation at hand: A little girl is found dead in the woods, taped up and wrapped in garbage bags and it all points to her - her mother.

She is feeling the heat and wanted to step out of the hot seat. The jurors were looking at her, people in the audience were looking at her, we Caylee's justice seekers are watching her. That is why she freaked, the noose is tightening around her neck. She was always able to divert from the situation at hand with her parents, friends by creating elaborate lies. Not going to happen here and she is faaaaareaking out!!

Those are also not the actions of someone who would "get sick" at the description of a skull under a log, IMO.

I agree that her body is completely capable of picking up a virus.

However I also don't think people here on WS should be called a lynch mob because they are skeptical of the words/actions of someone who is a pathological liar. We've heard 3 years of lies lies lies mixed with pretty much no truth at all, and so I think those of us who feel that she's still lying can be forgiven for our skepticism.

Also, I don't think her only two potential actions were to sit like a bump on a log OR have the dry heaves. What about tears, a facial expression of sadness, a look of grief? Btw, she was filmed laughing and smiling while the jury was out of the courtroom. I really don't think people who see all of that happening live on camera should be blamed for considering it one her thousands of shams or lies.

I think the jury noticed the hour she spent overtly miming nausea (real or fake, whatever) and the believe court was recessed for this real or fake illness. But I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't also wonder if this is what it would take for her to end the trial and plead.

Sorry about the term Lynch mob, but seriously, she has been tried and convicted here, a quick glimpse of hundreds of threads proves that. And I have not seen anything here that indicates she needs to plea, she wouldn't have had a change of heart in the middle of the trial, its not in her makeup so I don't understand why anyone thinks that. Remember the video of her crying in anger after CA testified in court? KC was crying in anger because CA didn't look at her and CA was supporting GA? KC was "crying" but she was angry. Yesterday during these crime scene photos and testimony, I saw no crying. Only dabbing at her eyes and picking at her nose. IMO she was faking this "illness." IMO the jury knew what was going on too. From what I read the jury was looking at the photos and trying to do their job. Delaying testimony and court because of this "illness" IMO should irk them. She was faking it allright....What a waste, huge waste. :banghead:

I have rewatched a lot of today. She is so not crying. Why does she press so hard on her cheeks and wipe really really slowly. We have all had a really good cry before, I think, and that is not a natural motion. So slow and hard pressing on cheeks. She's beyond ridiculous. She sucks!!!

Some of the posters think the DT reads here, if so, you need to get a body language expert STAT to teach her some things. This is laughable. You made a big mistake today. This was so disrespectful to Caylee's body and memory. Get an expert STAT or she will get DP.

Thank you! She faked the entire thing. :banghead: I saw only one or two tears yesterday and it was after she had poked herself in the eye. She was not crying and if that doesn't say guilty I don't know what does.

someone on tv this morning was saying that she knows the crying is faked because the tissue casey holds never gets damp...she doesn't have to change to a dry one...she rubs her nose to make it red...no mucous or stuffy sinuses... now that the defense has a clue to how to 'better fake' crying, i'll be counting the number of dry tissues she goes through...

But that's really not how the medication of inmates works. The defense has no control over who she is medicated or when or how much and inmates are not given meds in anticipation of something. Jails are very, very careful with the prescription of controlled substances, such as tranquilizers, and casey would have needed to see a doctor and psychiatrist to get one. In any case, it's hard to get such a prescription. They usually give them out in the form of a shot in emergency situations.

She should be forced to look at the pictures of her baby girl. I just think she is upset that she now knows she has been caught, almost like trying to take LEO to "her" office and then had to admit she did not have one, she has been caught and she does not want ot be in the court room. She is faking sick which I am sure she has done many many times over the years just to get her way. She may plead, which I doubt, but she will never tell what happened. Evil is the face of ICA. A parent should never be this evil IMO. Of course we know parents kill their children all the time, but I can't remember any carrying out suck an elaborate bunch of lies as ICA has.
