Serving a 38 year sentence. Also convicted (5/31/16) to hire hit-man to murder Will County State's attorney Jim Glasgow & will serve an additional 40 year sentence.

No ruling on Drew Peterson’s bid for a new trial after conviction for killing 3rd wife
Both parties in Drew Peterson case are scheduled to meet again on April 4 for status on Peterson’s post-conviction petition for a new trial. Peterson was convicted in 2012 of killing his third wife. Peterson has yet to make a court appearance since he filed his petition last year

I actually hope he gets a new trial so he can again be convicted with a stiffer sentence.

*Status Hearing (Post Conviction Petition) (@ 9:30am CT) - IL - Kathleen Savio (40) (Mar. 1, 2004) - Drew Peterson (50 @ time of crime/59 when convicted/now 69) was convicted/sentenced (2/21/13) of 2 counts of 1st degree murder/intent to kill/injure in her death. Serving a 38 year concurrent sentence. Also convicted (5/31/16) to hire hit-man to murder Will County State's attorney Jim Glasgow & will serve an additional 40 year sentence.

Wishing DrewP would just find a hole to crawl in and pull it in after him, never to be seen or heard again. To say that I despise this cretin is an understatement. That we already had to bear witness to his asinine antics to finally get him where he is (and IMO, belongs) once is more than enough.
