To all Lisa's friends, family and the sleuthers here, please never lose faith.

Those guys that you listed got away with it for quite awhile but were finally arrested so I hope ole Craig isn't getting to comfortable. I do think he will be arrested at some point. I honestly didn't think Abaroa would ever be arrested but he was and that just made my day. I don't know how that came about or if they found new evidence or what but I'm so glad they got him so we can't give up hope that the rest of these killers won't get theirs too.

I'd just like to know what these guys do with the bodies. You would think at least some of these bodies would have shown up by now. There are so many missing wives. I wonder if LE ever got to talk to Lisa's kids?

Michelle Harris' body still hasn't been found from her disappearance in 2001 and Cal Harris has been convicted twice for her murder. There was a small amount of blood evidence in the garage of the home, and the rest of the evidence was circumstantial, including witnesses Michelle told that Cal threatened her.

I am sure Cal never thought he would be convicted, let alone twice. His family is enormously wealthy and he was able to hire best available defense. But juries can see through all of the trappings and figure out what is the most reasonable explanation.

whats with the topic here..this case is solved you should consider starting a new topic saying will they ever find enough evidence or the body to arrest Mr Stebic. this case is technically anyway allready solved.

I voted not sure. I took an interest in this case (as well as Stacy Peterson's) when the story first broke. It just seems the more time that passes, the less likely these women will be found. Is anyone still searching for them?

heat is going to be turned up on the Lisa Stebic case

Lisa Stebic, another Will County woman who went missing in 2007 before Stacy Peterson and likewise still hasn't been found. Her husband remains the only person of interest.
The Sun Times reports that Glasgow is gearing up for that case now.
If it is her husband that they are looking into, I would be concerned that he would be a flight risk as the article states:

Will County State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow said Friday he’s not only pondering charges in Stacy Peterson’s disappearance but is also putting the Stebic case “on the front burner.” Glasgow said investigators have “significant evidence” in the Stebic case, and that as soon as the Christopher Vaughn trial ends, his top prosecutors will review it all.

“With the evidence that we would have, you can prosecute a murder case without a body,” he said Friday.

As I said above and will say it again, I wonder if Stebic's husband is still the only person of interest because Glasgow making a statement like that is likely to make him run for the hills. I hope that they are keeping an eye on him.

Ugh, watching a rerun on this case on NG. What a disgusting her husband is. I hope they do move forward soon. This case could not be more obvious to me. Good thing I can't be a juror. Good for him, anyway.

Thus, your post; together with the news article, does raise my suspicion about the reported identification. I find it is interesting that the remains include the rib cage, spinal column and partial left and right femur bones, and NO Pelvis....Especially if the reported women's underpants were actually present as well.

Let's be real. The home sold way below market price in August 2016 and is across the street from a giant open field. She's either in the backyard, under the house, or in the field across the street. He even claimed to have been doing yard work the night she disappeared.
