Diver returns to water in Aliayah Lunsford search
Divers returned to the water in the search for a missing 3-year-old Lewis County girl on Tuesday.

While law enforcement keeps going over surveillance videos and following up leads, a private diver went back in the river near Aliayah Lunsford's home. Investigators say this is just a way to make sure they cover all the water in the area.

Search for Aliayah Lunsford moved to new location
A new area is now the focus of the search for a missing three year old in Lewis County.

FBI Special Agent Jeff Killeen says the Mobile Command in the Aliayah Lunsford search has been temporarily moved to a remote location after receiving what he called "valuable information."

Lunsford search focused on new area
The continuing search for a missing child in Lewis County has crossed county lines.
WAJR-FM in Clarksburg reports the FBI has moved its mobile command center in the hunt for three-year-old Aliayah Lunsford from the Weston area to a remote part of Gilmer County. The new search point is in the community of Vadis, nearly ten miles north of Glenville.

Teresa Hathaway helped search the Lewis County community of Bendale in the days following Aliayah's disappearance on September 24th. She also organized a vigil for the little girl earlier this week.

Prayer meeting set for Aliayah Lunsford
Folks in Lewis County will be hosting a prayer meeting this Saturday in honor of missing 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford.

The community will gather at The Way of Holiness Church on Route 33 in Buckhannon on Saturday at 2 p.m. Hundreds of folks have been honoring the missing girl through different ways such as a balloon launch and on social media sites.

The mother of missing Lewis County three-year-old Aliayah Lunsford chose not to appear in person Tuesday for her arraignment on federal fraud charges in U.S. District Court in Elkins.
Lena Lunsford, 29, of Bendale, instead signed a waiver and a "not guilty" plea was entered on her behalf.

According to a statement released by Woelfel and Woelfel LLP, of Huntington, WV Lena Lunsford has issued the following statement:

Lena Lunsford implores residents of central West Virginia to keep a vigilant eye open for any clue concerning her daughter's September 24 disappearance or her current whereabouts. Aliayah, age 3, has brown hair, brown eyes, weights about 35 pounds and is 3 feet in heighth.

"I believe in my heart that Aliayah is alive. That belief is keeping me going through these horrible days. If Aliayah's photo stays in the public eye, maybe someone will notice something which will lead to a beak in the case. Thank you to the volunteers and law enforcement officers who have been helping and who give us hope. I continue to fully cooperate with the investigators who are working so hard for Aliayah's return home.

Lena Lunsford reportedly gives birth to twins who are now in state custody
Thursday marks 48 days of Aliayah Lunsford's disappearance, and there's still no sign of where she may be. But reports from family members on Facebook say her mother, Lena Lunsford, has given birth to a set of twins.

But it was apparently a day of mixed emotions for Lena, as those same reports suggest those twins have already been taken into custody by the state.

Prayer service held in Buckhannon for Aliayah Lunsford
Folks from across the country have gathered in Lewis County for the past few weeks, to search for missing three year-old Aliayah Lunsford, but Saturday family and friends came together to look for answers elsewhere.

Aliayah's family says they've utilized every outlet available to get the word out about the missing girl. They've posted flyers, made a Facebook page, and are now wearing purple ribbons, made in Aliayah's favorite color.

Now they're hoping the power of prayer will bring her home safely.

Two new posters released in Aliayah Lunsford disappearance
Two new posters were released Monday in regards to missing 3-year-old Aliayah Lunsford. Both the FBI and the West Virginia Fusion Center released new flyers about Aliayah, whom they're calling missing and endangered.

"It's important to note that there are two. The West Virginia Fusion Cell took responsibility for releasing the first one, the FBI took responsibility for releasing the other one adn tehy're freely available for the public to take a look at and we've also made copies and more copies are available if people want to distribute them," says FBI Special Agent Jeff Killeen.
The picture on the Fusion Center's flyer was supposedly taken just days before Aliayah was reported missing.

In it, you can see a bruise on the left side of her face. There's no word on where this bruise originated.

Mother of Aliayah Lunsford violates federal probation
Lena Lunsford, mother of missing Aliayah Lunsford, 3, has violated her federal probation terms.

In U.S. District Court records, U.S. Pretrial Services Officer Brian Kilgore recommended home incarceration and substance abuse treatment for Lunsford. Kilgore wrote she has violated the terms of her probation with two incidences of "non-compliance."

Hearing set to consider bond revocation for missing girls mother
A court official is recommending substance abuse treatment and home detention for the mother of a missing toddler while she awaits trial on welfare fraud.
Federal records show pretrial services officer Brian Kilgore wants the court to intervene in the case of Lena Lunsford, 29, who was allegedly caught with synthetic drugs called bath salts.
Lunsford's 3-year-old daughter Aliayah vanished from her Lewis County home September 24 and hasn't been found.
