Forgive me if I missed something but was there testimony about what ZA, et al did with Holly's body after leaving the river? Jennifer Thompson's statement about Zach not going to Parsons with a body in the back of a truck made sense to me.

Jason Autry's testimony, was he and Zach went separate ways after the TN River. At some point, Jason, Zach, Dylan and Shayne end up over at Miss Dottie's house. (I'm confused here of the specific day and time this occurs). Jason's testimony is that Zach said to Victor Dinsmore, I put my truck in your garage.

The conclusion I am jumping to, this is MOO, is that the State is trying to imply that Zach hid the white Nissan Truck that they went to the TN River in to dump Holly's body, in Victor Dinsmore's shop/garage with Holly's body in it, until Zach could figure out what to do with body.

Like many people have said, cell phone pings can't tell you what car somebody is driving. Again, MOO is that if Zach went to Parson's that day, he probably went in Dylan's truck. Because they went to Miss Dottie's in Dylan's truck.

I have a question here, and I apologize in advance if it's already been discussed and I've missed it: My understanding of how this works is that the State gives its closing statement, the the Defense gives its closing statement, then the State can follow up with a "rebuttal" of sorts -not sure what it's called. Why are they doing that here? Why would they leave the jury with the Defense's closing arguments, given the chance to put the last word in. The Defenses's arguments will be ringing in their ears when they go in to deliberate. Seems not right.

i think she is doing it exactly right...last words not some jibbering rampage of random events but humanizing the family and victim and a return to the essential facts and why they are there.

He probably has granddaughters Holly's age. It is a very sad ending to a beautiful life which held so much promise.

Jason Autry has plenty of time to contact all guys in the jails to fabricate a story of a confession from Zach.

The only person known to have stalked women, raped women, or assaulted women, is Terry Britt.

Zach did have domestic violence issues, but that's a far cry from kidnapping, raping and murder.

And there was and is not 1 shred of physical evidence that links Holly to any of those guys.

How could a juror vote guilty on any of the charges?

Well, because there IS evidence, and a jury can give weight to non-physical evidence too. It's hard to expect excellent physical evidence after 6 years, and frankly I think there would be more physical evidence if another law enforcement agency had handled the case.
ETA: Personally, I found Jason Autry to be more credible than Dicus, so that is really, really saying something.

I don't understand why every trial wouldn't have a photo of the victim displayed. To not do so is egregiously remiss and patently unjust to the victim. (This is not done in New York and, as a juror in a criminal trial there was shocked and disgusted.) The defendant is all dressed up in a shirt and tie, perfectly coiffed and shaved according to juror polling, and has been endlessly coached and re-coached as to demeanor, style and substance of answers. (Obviously, he was a choir-boy before the court date, too.)

Meanwhile, over on the "victim" side, the only visible representation of the victim the jury saw was a naked man, face down on his bed, drowned in his own vomit. No face. Hell: No clothing. No Humanity. Nothing. Really, just a lump of ugly, dead, flesh.

Thank heavens Holly could be present in her own case in what is now, in my opinion, the great state of Tennessee!

I respectfully disagree with that statement. Even if I think (not saying this is my POV) the State hasn't proved BRD, I don't think that Jason Autry is going around jails/prisons rehearsing a story with other inmates.
