From a few days ago but this is not a theory. It is a statement.

"One thing we do know, this was not an accident. It was an intentional, deliberate act, to bring down this airplane. And the question is who is behind that," Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, told Fox News.

Michael Thomas McCaul, Sr. is the U.S. Representative for Texas's 10th congressional district, serving since 2005. Since the beginning of the 113th Congress, he has been the Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security. Wikipedia

Rush Limbaugh just read a report supposedly leaked that some kind of cargo which was on this jetliner had come from The Maersk; the ship which was being guarded by the two retired Navy SEALS who were found dead under suspicious circumstances. It said that there is suspicion that the scene was staged to appear to be heroin overdose but they were murdered to get access to that cargo. The cargo was later transferred off of the ship to another secure location to await transport to the flight which eventually disappeared.

I don't have a link since I just heard it on the radio. MOO

He's repeating what was reported by a very questionable website which I won't link.

In the case of earlier crashes tied to lithium ion battery fires, the ACARS system reported a cargo smoke detector alarm going off. #MH370

Interesting a cargo smoke detector went off. I had not heard that until now.

You miss my point. He is a U.S Representative who gave an official statement to the news media. You may find it comical, I don't. If he is talking out of his *advertiser censored**, that is criminal.

Malaysian woman claims to have seen missing MH370 in the water near Andaman Islands on day it disappeared
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ter-near-Andaman-Islands-day-disappeared.html

As aircraft and ships continued to search for debris which might be that of the missing flight MH370 on Friday a Malaysian woman on a flight across the Indian Ocean claimed to have seen an aircraft in the water near the Andaman Islands on the day the jet disappeared.

The Kuala Lumpur wife was so convinced about what she saw at 2.30pm on March 8, several hours after MH370 vanished, that she filed an official report with police that very day - a full five days before the search for the plane was expanded to the area around the Andaman Islands.

News of her apparent sighting came as a blank was drawn after two days of searching in the Indian Ocean for two objects deemed by experts as possibly being from the missing plane.

Another possible sighting in the Andaman Islands.

I'm with you, the timeline has changed so much that I no longer know in what order the events occured.

If there is confirmation that the turn happened prior to the "All right, good night" transmission, could someone please post a link? I'm looking but haven't found anything yet.

I read one yesterday or this a.m. (a.m. for me) that someone linked here, only 1 article.

I must remind all, that news is not always accurate. It is embellished in our new time of instant. Not many reporters, most is culled from the internet and a twist added. I have seen what happens with the last of real reporters, ETA: rather physical beings for reporters, not real or good reporters. A one second conversation with someone in an office. The reporter makes assumptions, lack of conversation, and writes a story on 5 words that the reporter already had in mind. No research, no contact with anyone that really knows, and they do not stick around to expound beyond what is in their mind from the 5 word exchange. Case after case, you will find all that was reported initially has nothing to do with the reality or the facts.

*Off my miniature soap box now. Next speaker please! --------

I would consider it a theory. Nobody knows what happened.

Experts are for the first time moving toward my fears that upset some folks.

I think it was yesterday that I heard Senator Chambliss who is on the Senate Intell Committee talking on one of the networks (don't remember which). He said something similary, that there was little doubt this was an intentional act and not a fire or decompression issue. I assume these people receive regular national security briefings on this stuff. He specifically pointed out that apparantly Boeing has indicated that they are pretty certain the transponder was switched off, and did not fail due to some electrical issue or fire.

I'm not 100% up on the timeline of events (they've changed back and forth so much its hard to keep up!) but yes, if this claim on the communications post changing course is right, its another nail in the coffin for old mate's fire theory that has been touted round the world with his smug little face on it.

Not sure if these will be helpful of not at this point, but...

Here's the timeline from The Telegraph Mar 17, 2014:

MSM link: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...ents-of-missing-Malaysia-Airlines-flight.html

Here's the 'new' timeline from CNN Mar 19, 2014:

For more on this (Mar 18 article):

This week, that timing was significantly changed to 1:19 a.m.—significantly because it meant that the airplane’s transponder, which identifies the flight and confirms its position, stopped operating at 1:22 a.m., after the voice message and not before. As long as it seemed that that calm voice contact was concealing an already-initiated plan to render the 777 invisible, the flight crew were made to look like prime suspects.

Now the chronology has become even more slippery. This time the issue is the other umbilical link between the airplane and the ground, its Aircraft Communications and Addressing Reporting System (ACARS). Malaysia Airlines Chief Executive, Ahmad Jauhari Yahya confessed to a news conference in Kuala Lumpur late Monday that it was now unclear when the ACARS system had been disabled.

Earlier, Acting Transport Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein had said that ACARS contact was lost at 1:07am, before the last words from the cockpit.

Amazingly, the airline chief now admits: “We don’t know when the ACARS was switched off.” It had, he said, worked normally at 1:07 a.m. but failed to send its next scheduled signal at 1:37 a.m.
