Here's hoping that Joni Mitchell is back in the pink soon!

The 71-year-old Blue artist was reportedly rushed to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon and remains in intensive care.

Per TMZ , which was first to report Mitchell's medical crisis, a call was made from the singer-songwriter's Los Angeles home at around 2:30 p.m. to report an unconscious female, but that the patient was alert on the ambulance ride to the hospital...

Wow. Didn't know she'd battled Morgellons.

Isn't Morgellons the disease that afflicts people that comes from chem trails?

Wow. Didn't know she'd battled Morgellons.

I had read about that in this February 8 New Yorker interview.

Weird disorder. I hate to admit can actually imagine "seeing" those. Skin, especially at the site of a healing wound or irritation, can look really bizarre at times, IMO.

Who would have ever imagined all these rockers (and folkies) would have lived to such ripe old ages?

I saw a WaPo article about mortality rates among different genres of music. Kind of interesting (but about as predictable as a Malcolm Gladwell article. IMO, if the same study were done 30 or 40 years ago, it would have shown drugs as the primary COD of rock & roll musicians, mainly because so few would have died before age 40.)

its all a circle game... rest now, Sweet Joni Mitchell... just rest...

Such an integral voice to my teenage years....Joni, wishing you peace and light and healing.

Wish I had a river
I could skate away on

Don't it always seem to go that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone?

It's being reported that the legend is recovering from a brain aneurysm....

Joni Mitchell is improving my sources say, after a brain aneurysm felled her on March 31st. I am told definitively that she didn’t have a stroke, and that’s a relief. Recently Joni was moved to a rehab facility. The word among her friends is that her pal, Leslie Morris, who stepped in to take care of her, is trying to arrange a way Joni can continue her rehab at home.

"I have not spoken with her. To my knowledge she is not speaking yet. She is home, she is in care, she is recovering. She took a terrible hit," Crosby, 73, said. "She had an aneurysm, and nobody found her for a while. And she's going to have to struggle back from it the way you struggle back from a traumatic brain injury"........
"She's a tough girl, and very smart.
So, how much she's going to come back and when, I don't know and I'm not going to guess," Crosby said Friday.
"I love her. She's probably the greatest living singer-songwriter."

Isn't Morgellons the disease that afflicts people that comes from chem trails?

Read the Mayo Clinic site and what it says in one part is that it is found almost exclusively in middle-aged white women, which is strange enough. But in another part of the article (long article) there seems to still be two theories scientists look at. One is infectious, possibly related to a particular parasite (?) & the other is falling into the auto-immune category. Sorry to hear she has been so ill.

So true. An angelic voice. I wish her all the best.
