Hi Bernina. yah I remember bluing and all, remember my grandma heating an iron on
kitchen stove! many moons ago. I sprinkled and rolled, refridged and all. I always took
sheets from line and put them on the bed made the whole room fresh. I also remember
my grandma beating the front room rug outside on a line. going to icehouse with wagon
to pick up ice. Horse and wagon man picking up papers and rags.. Sprinkling clothes was
done because at first, no steam irons.. :seeya:

The clothes in the frig is a new one on me , I do remember when we had a milk man and a bread man. My mom didn't drive in those days, maybe that's why. We did hang clothes on the line , no dryer. And when my mom was cleaning the floors, she would make us stay outside and play, locked us out of the house, lol.

Hey all,

Authorities find bodies believed to be missing Pinal County couple

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at the house Wednesday afternoon and detained a "person of interest." Investigators could be seen digging in the backyard Wednesday night.

Mike and Tina Careccia were reported missing more than a week ago. The couple reportedly left their home at 5 a.m. on June 22. They told family members the night before that they had an appointment in the East Valley and Tina Careccia was running an errand for her boss. Her purse was left at the home in her room and the item she was supposed to deliver for her boss was in that purse.

What a sad ending for the family and community.

I am always thrilled when you can post something positive about our Lily. Good to know you will be seeing her soon. Give her some extra smooches and hugs from us here .... I think we have all adopted her as our own. Have I told you hoe beautiful she is? Of course you already knew that, but I sure have enjoyed seeing her picture. How anyone could harm such a precious gift is totally beyond my comprehension.

That is sure nice of Pop's sister to help Little Mama with transportation. Things are starting to look brighter. (((hugs)))

I'm waaay behind again, but Spell is so right about Lily being the Sidebar's baby. I was going to post the same thing, as I remember how excited we all were when Pages announced little mama was in labor. We all fell in love with that baby! I remember how thrilled Pages was and how we all excitedly waited for her birth and her new name :heartbeat:

Just like Bernina's "Zuri" was the Sidebar's "baby." Zuri belongs to all of us!

And then we had the SB's giraffe. I'm sorry, but I can't' remember who posted about that babies birth!

***Speaking of babies, PLEASE PRAY for my furbaby :frown: I think we need a miracle

Morning all!

Just checking in....

The movie Jurassic World in 3D was GREAT!! :happydance: but Huz spent $40 - $17 for tickets and $17 for 2 popcorns and a soda... :gaah: No wonder we don't go to the movies too much!!!

I too am having problems with ALL Websleuths' threads... :gaah: :gaah: It takes about 3 minutes to go from one page to another.... :gaah: and sometimes I just have to shut down and try again...
at least I'm not getting a gray/grey box anymore... fingers crossed on that one!

Going to watch Rafa Nadal play at Wimbledon! Go Rafa!!

I have "tried" to Thank all your posts, but of course I get that error! another :gaah:

Okay - off to catch up on the Holmes trial, as that was one I was reading last night and kept getting "stuck" with the page getting not loading!!

:seeya:

YES, horses can have blue eyes, and green, yellow, amber and hazel.
Blue eyes are often called "wall eyed", which includes partial blue and another eye color like you see in dogs like Aussies and Northern breeds.
They're just like any other horses, you just need to be aware of pink pigment of the skin around the eyes, if it is pink, which make them more prone to certain cancers.
My experience is it's found more often in Paints and Appaloosas.

Oh no, Dmacky. I hate it when our fur babies are not doing well. Thinking of you and sending

Egads, at that price I won't ever be going to the movies. $17 for that yummy popcorn? SMH

Bernina, the two blue eyed horse pics you posted at #1066 are just gorgeous.

I've had four huskies, three of which have been blue-eyed. There's just something about blue eyed animals that makes them extra special.

For those of you having trouble with WS loading slow and other problems, do you ever try using a different browser? I use Firefox and never have those sorts of issues with this site. Sometimes the text loads centered on the page but that's easily fixed by refreshing. I also think sometimes this particular thread loads slowly because it is so image-heavy in comparison to a lot of threads here.

CJ you're cracking me up this morning.

p.s. Person of interest identified in Dylan Redwine case and suspect named in Stephanie Warner case!

A stranger came to visit today :) (playing peek-a-boo with the rain clouds)
One good thing about all the rain- it's been so cool- haven't had to use the AC at all.

‘We’re often mistaken for a cabaret act – but double-dressing makes us feel like celebrities’: 60-yr-old twin sisters have worn identical clothes for 14 years... even in BED

"IT’S not unusual to see twins in the same outfit if they are young children dressed by their parents.

But identical sisters Kathy Heffernan and Rosey Coles became fashion doubles at the age of 46 – and have worn matching clothes every day for 14 years.
Mrs Heffernan and Mrs Coles, now 60, work together and live next door to each other. They dressed similarly as teenagers but the habit ended when they got married and moved apart.

However, the twins both became single in 2000, decided to live closer together and began dressing the same – even wearing identical nightdresses in bed..."

Boy had been on park swing two days when he was found dead, officials say :(

"The story was chilling and heartbreaking: A 3-year-old boy was found dead in a Southern Maryland park, his mother pushing him on the swing.

More than a month after Ji’Aire Donnell Lee’s death, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office revealed more terrible details: Ji’Aire was alive when his mother put him on the swing. He stayed on it for almost two days.

A medical examiner’s office has ruled that Ji’Aire’s death was a homicide, and the sheriff’s office said Tuesday that he died of hypothermia and dehydration during his long time on the swing..."

July 2015 is sure getting busy up there. If you look up tonight you may be able to see the two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter. They'll appear so close in the sky in the upcoming nights that they will be seen like a single super bright star, which some astronomy-lovers say resembles the biblical 'Star of Bethlehem'.

And then there are the Perseid meteor shower. It’ll peak on the mornings of August 11, 12 and 13.

And there will be another "blood red moon" total lunar eclipse on September 28th.

In my own opinion, America is under God's judgement. Things are not going to get any better.

Two interesting and thought provoking books are the Harbinger and the Shemitah by Jonathan Cahn. I have forgotten so much about how America came to be.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

We've had a warm humid breeze since last night. It's very nice outside for July in Texas.

I know of some people who are convinced Planet X is going to hit the earth and have dug pits to drop cargo containers into. Stocking up on food, etc., etc.
If a planet hits the earth, I don't think anything is going to protect anybody, just "poof". Supposed to happen before Easter next year, but it's been put off several times.

(no, I don't buy it, but small towns are ripe with conspiracies and doomsday believers, the "black helicopter", "Go Pack", "Doomsday Preppers" groups)

We have awesome meteor showers all through August down here. It's a nightly occurrence. I'll have to make sure I'm outside the 11th-13th.
