I don't agree with tearing it down.Really no one is forcing you to go out on it.They have plans in the works of modifying it with walking surface and including it in the trail system ...I seen the post here on WS in the earlier stages of conversation.

I agree with you - it should be kept open! Imagine someday it might look like this:

Yes, this tip was submitted.

I know a lot of people have been hearing Ron Logan was released...but suthorities confirm he is still in custody. https://twitter.com/grltom/status/843891611725651969 …

:)offtobed: ) my head hurts...wake me up if something happens

Mr Logan is listed on Vine as being Out of Custody/general release from Clinton County. Perhaps he has been returned to Carroll County.

Nothing new added that I have found there yet.

That would cost quite a sum I would imagine. JMO but what to do with that bridge given the murders and the expenses involved should be left up to locals and the girl's family's.

LE has confirmed there's no connection.

@dbursten says media reports connecting Ronald Logan to #DelphiMurders is FALSE. Probation Violation; no connection to murder investigation

I am getting confused. Would that mean that the police searched his home and apparently seized evidence purely in connection to a probation violation involving driving?

Or does it mean that the actual arrest was based on only a probation violation and thus leaving open the possibility that police had other concerns regarding the search and seizure of possible evidence?

We think it had to do with his alibi. His family has stated on SM it stands but he was arrested and the search on his place was conducted when LE was giving statements about several alibis not standing up. They said they needed to either confirm he was not involved or investigate him more seriously.

They also said what LE was looking for at the farm... they already have everything he had.

I think RL has done something illegal, but nothing to do with these 2 young girls.

I wouldn't want to see it torn down, either. I am actually a little antsy about security cameras. I mean, my family does a lot of hiking and stuff and I don't want to feel like I am under surveillance. I realize that bad things occasionally happen in the woods but the reason I live 30 minutes from the nearest town, up in the mountains, is to that I can do whatever I want. Same goes for hiking and walking.

Differences in where a person lives then I suppose. Being very near Chicago, I'm glad for the cameras, but don't like them, no, they are a violation of privacy. Anyone can fly a drone around with video camera as well.

rL has five drunk driving convictions, not two.

BBM:

This is False. According ro court records, RL has had three drunk driving convictions. Not trying to split hairs here, but there is a difference in the amount of convictions and this distinction should be made... and we should all be cognizant of spreading misinformation, it makes everything more confusing in an already rumor tainted case.

No, LE stated the SW was directly related to the double homicide when they searched his home on 3/17.
