Cases That Haunt You

I am brand new here, this is my first post. The first thing I did when I logged on was to try & find a case that haunts me. It was a VERY publicized case, I think out of Florida. I want to say the little girl's name was Hayley? Was left with the dad's white trash girlfriend while he worked graveyard shift. Vanished allegedly in the middle of the night.
Also the Beth Miller case out of Colorado. Happened when I was a child & has ALWAYS haunted me. I still pray for closure for her family.....
Peace to all 🎆🎇✨✌👊💙💚

The links you posted are to sites that sell something or to pages deleted. But the cases sound interesting. Maybe I can just look up the names in a new browser and hope the cases show up. Thanks for the post anyway.

Maggie Hume, murdered in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1982. She was a friend of my sister's. Remains unsolved.

Leah Toby Roberts from North Carolina, missing since 2000, is always on my mind. She went on a road trip all alone, inspired by Jack Kerouac novels. Her Jeep was found wrecked in Bellingham, Washington, but there was no sign of human injury in the vehicle, and her body was never located. Looked like someone wrecked the car after foul play.

She reminds me of me as a younger person -- free spirited. I google her often for updates hope her siblings eventually find answers.

Brand new here, so don't know if this has been posted, but the case that has haunted me since middle school was the murder of a young girl named Delaney Zutz who snuck out of her bedroom window in the summer in Anchorage, AK. Her younger sister went to middle school with me at the time of her death. Her body was found in the woods near their home in South Anchorage. After seeing the story on the news, I was absolutely terrified to go out and play in the woods around our house (which in AK means you are terrified of going anywhere).

The Grateful Doe case bothered me for years. Not because of it being a criminal case I just couldn't imagine someone not looking for their kid. Jason Callahan ended up being from my area.

As far as criminal cases Brittanae Drexel is one. I know a LEO who still goes out on his days off looking for her.

Been a member for a while but have never posted. I've been following the case of Elizabeth Diane Vaughn who has been missing since 1992 from Hendersonville, TN. I haven't found a thread about her here so if anyone knows of one, please let me know. I know her brother and sister-in-law so I've kept up with the case over the years. I also have a question. Diane was separated from her husband at the time of her disappearance. I recently checked land records and there was a loan taken out on their house 3 weeks before her disappearance. I looked back further and found mortgages that were taken out when they were first married. The signature of Diane doesn't match from the first mortgage to the one taken out 3 weeks before she disappeared. Would you think that the detectives would know this already or is this something that I should mention? My thinking is that her husband took out the loan, had her signature forged, and took out cash to pay for someone to make her disappear. I don't know anyone who would agree to another mortgage on the marital property when they were in the process of divorcing and no longer live at the residence

I think I have to post more before I can start a new thread but I will definitely be more active. I think this case could be solved

Shania Davis haunts me to no end. I cannot get past what this girl suffered through. At the time she went missing I only had a 9 yr old son I now have a 7 yr old daughter also and my son is 17 and I can't imagine the fear and horror she suffered knowing her own mother sent her with him. I just spend the weekend reading Zahra Baker's, Relisha Rudd, and her threads again. They went through so much in such a short time. They have left a permanent mark on my soul. Rip angels
