Woah.... was a 'joke' that Holly's remains were in a blue tote...but she called TBI to tell them anyway, but when investigators were face to face with her, she didn't mention it. OK... I get it.. she was using drugs, young, and not thinking.

It sounded bad---but then the defense attorney clarified it for me, so now it makes sense...:wink:

Zach and his twisted friends purposely said that comment about Holly being in that blue tote, to see how Becca was going react. She said she immediately left the house and called it in to TBI. That was in JULY.

After that, she was told they were messing with her, and that was not remains in the blue tote.

So in FEBRUARY, 7 months later, when TBI came and asked her questions, she had no reason to bring up the blue tote.

A really effective attorney, like Pitbull Juan Martinez, could have torn about the poor girlfriend. But the defense attorney is kind of weak at crossssing the witnesses. She brings up a valid point, then keeps talking and kind of ends up clarifying it and making it seem in the states favor.

So they are in a recess but having an argument at the bench right now.

The state just asked the ex-girlfriend, Do you remember the defense attorney asking why you were afraid of Zach?---can you tell us---


And defense jumped up like a 'jack in the box' objecting------the State said 'you opened the door by asking the question'......

Defense said NO, I did not open that door---- JUDGE jumped in, called recess and sidebar----

Either way, the jury now KNOWS that the defense does not want them to know why the ex girlfriend was afraid of Zach.....

In regards to Ms. Earl's testimony:
These situations are so difficult, I imagine, for the jury. On one hand, this woman has cleaned herself up and is working two jobs to support her family. On the other hand ,she's a former addict who may or may not remember things correctly. Even given this, I feel her testimony is the best circumstantial evidence thus far,
