Local women keep going missing: 6 cases you need to know about
When the missing report was filed in September about Coe, she followed other cases of missing women all living within a 35-mile radius from cities along Interstate 71/75. One woman, a Middletown native, has since been found living in Kentucky. Though as of March, besides Coe, there were still four missing women from Middletown and a missing woman from Springfield. All the women are adults with a history of drug abuse, and some were homeless and had a history of prostitution.
Once again, there is a theory looming within the Ohio law enforcement community that this may be the work of another serial killer? And if so, for this Web-sleuth, could these missing women be connected to other missing women cases along the I-71 and I-75 trucking lanes that run through other states? I have been entertaining this theory for years. I believe Long Haul Truckers are using these trucking lanes across this country as hunting grounds for lot lizards (female prostitutes who frequent some truck-stop parking lots and rest areas at night. Most lot lizards openly "advertise" using CB radios; others boldly walk from truck to truck randomly knocking on doors). Most of these women have a history of drug abuse and prostitution. They are definitely easy prey, and now with the government shutdown of Craigslist and Backpage this has become even more common for escorts and prostitutes alike. If you have any other information on missing women in other states along I-71 and I-75 within the last year to year and a half, I would appreciate it if you shared on this thread.
