I was thinking about this the other day it seems like at first they were saying they *thought* she was home, but then a few days after they sent the tape of to get enhanced the Sheriff started speaking with great confidence of her being there and they list the tape as part of the reason. I think they can hear her on the tape (this is 100% my personal speculation).

I forgot that was my original theory on how they knew she was home. She was heard on the 911 call.

Now i thinking about ice melting in a glass on a nightstand. See how the mind works....

I have verified it as much as I can, multiple people who are employed there, there was a post in thread five that states he was a line supervisor which is what was also told to me by other employees.

I thought the grandfather said the dad was working that day?

Just wanted to get this back out there so people could judge things based on actual logs rather than some other 'sensationalized' interpretations.

Please note that the first log entry is at the very bottom of page three and it does mention yelling. Some outlets missed the bottom of this page and started on the next.

Also because of the unanswered 911 call and call back the operator advised that it was a possible suicide....this was not decided after they saw the scene as some have reported.

The officer says man down and multiple rounds as he enters and before he has even found Denise,

[Confusion]

Ive heard a few people that have been interviewed that knew Jayme, and they stated she always very caring, that she was generous and wanted to help the poor. Maybe she was involved in some volunteer work? Maybe at a homeless shelter or helping the poor? Could someone take a liking to her if she was involved in that kind volunteer work?

Unless it's something really new, I don't believe Barron has a homeless shelter.

What if Dad opened the door, maybe only slightly and then realizing something was off (sees a gun, sees someone he knows is a danger etc) and then tries to close the door quickly?

Just a thought that occurred to me yesterday while thoughts were swirling around the whole "door" issue. These are JMO and random thoughts. Other thoughts and opinions on this school of thought are welcomed.

I suggested that a couple threads back, but nobody seemed too keen on the idea. (no idea where the "keen" came from, I never use that word.)

Why are the police so sure she’s alive though? This leads me to believe - as is pretty much always the case- that’s they know more than we know.

For sure they know more. We actually have very little that's solid fact which is why all we can do is try to speculate. As more comes out I could certainly change my mind but for now that's all I can come up with. Praying this sweet child makes it through this ordeal.

I have teenage sils who have never had much supervision. They were up drinking coffee to pull all nighters by the age of 13/14. Every single family operates differently and we really have no clue how the three of them were inside of their own homes. all we have to go on is family opinions on now they were with the entire extended family unit

Based on what we know about the family and mother/daughter relationship, it appears the girl was almost never alone. I’m thinking with her extracurriculars (especially running) she probably had a very regular sleeping schedule.

Yes, the Grandfather said this in interviews describing why he wasn't at the birthday party. It has not been verified by law enforcement as far as I am aware.

It is possible he was working and I am wrong, he was working somewhere else, or he stayed home for some reason.

If this was over a large debt, they wouldn’t end up getting the money from this situation, but they sure would be sending a HUGE and scary message to others who owe debts too. Especially with the fear of your child being taken.

it would only send a message if a bunch of ppl knew the Closs's owed a huge debt and who they owed it to (and therefore) who did it. Considering a 13 year old is missing someone would have talked. For this reason this doesn't make sense to me.

Sometimes things are not what they appear to be. LE has never said the door was kicked in for entrance to the home.

The dispatch log did make mention of an officer saying that the door was “kicked in.”

Can you give a little history on the casino? Is it open 24 hours, how far from the road, how large, etc. It sounds like, from the call logs, that LE contacted the casino for video surveillance records because it specifically stated that LE contacted casino security. Are there cameras on the building that may have captured a shot of the road?

I'm not sure exactly when it was built but it's been there since I can remember. It is right off hwy 8 with a little slip road (between the building and hwy 8) that is usually used by the shuttle buses that they have coming and going. The main parking area is in the back of the building which is where most people enter. They do different entertainment events through the month but I think besides the gambling a big pull for them is their buffet/restaurant. I know a buffet doesn't usually sound that good, but they actually have really good food, there are a lot of people that just go there to eat, at least in my family. Haha I know there are a lot of cameras in and around the casino but I couldn't say where they are directed at. They do have a hotel but unlike most of the other casino's around Wisconsin theirs isn't connected, it's down hwy 8 a few blocks.

If Jayme was the target - there are too many ways to do that which do not involve busting through doors after midnight and shooting the parents....
The only scenario wherein that might make sense - is if the perpetrator is someone who is obsessesed and/or stalking Jayme & was told on no uncertain terms to leave her alone....presumably a young man, clearly unbalanced, maybe drug or alcohol issues.....he is enraged at the parents.....

Otherwise: a family member/friend who is enraged at the parents...but after the rage subsides...remorse sets in: and Jayme is there.....doesn't have the 'heart' to kill her - is freaking out, not sure what to do.....once realize 911 called....has to take her because she recognizes them....
This scenario could also be a situation with a disgruntled employee/former employee.....

To my mind Jayme was taken because she was the target (someone obsessed with her, not your average stalker/kidnapper/abductor).....or because she could identify the perpetrator......

I don't think this was a botched burglary - if any thief takes time to case a house...plenty of opportunity to figure out when no one is home....or simply scare the people with the gun, don't actually shoot them....how often to thieves go kicking in doors after midnight & shooting the tenants of the house before looting? I'd say that figure is probably extremely low....

Yes I too think they probably heard on the 911 call. I bet they heard her use the word Mom or someone say ‘your mom’ or something.

That’s a very good point. I’ve also wondered if they could have had some kind of work done to their house recently, where the worker might have seen the layout of the house and/or noticed they had a young daughter.

There was, but I don't know which one so I have no way of knowing what was wrong with it/which one it was. That is why I was hoping there was a reference guide somewhere.

I believe this is in reference to me. Is it possible to clarify what it considered rumor? Is there a page with a clear definitions? I am trying not to violate the rules but they aren't very clear to me.

Unless your posts have been deleted or edited, I don't think that was addressed to you; I haven't seen anything you've posted that would be considered rumor - you've been very respectful about NOT posting rumors. I appreciate your input very much.
