This is just crazy. So many twists and turns. Who to believe. Seems as if the whole BC police department, DA's office and Mayor's office needs to be investigated by outside authorities.

I'm suspicious of the latest claim that the letter is fake. Seems like major damage control, IMO.

I always did wonder if Lauren might be involved in some way. Her text messages and movements just prior to the shooting are hinky.
 
Well, the problem is, when there's lies and corruption, then it's hard to believe what's truth...

Is the letter fake? Or is the letter the real deal? I don't know. If it's fake, then why all publicity about it? They should be able to investigate who wrote it, and why.

The Beaver County District Attorney’s office gave Wayne Cordes a sweet plea deal in his unrelated criminal case, and immunity regarding the letter, in exchange for Cordes telling detectives everything he knew about it. Cordes then told officials the letter was bogus.

He submitted to an FBI lie detector test earlier this month, which revealed he was telling the truth about the letter, according to Cordes and multiple courthouse sources. In fact, Cordes said, many of the details he was able to include in the letter were inadvertently provided to him by county detectives’ questioning.

Unbelievable.

Almost seems like a sting was setup. He was able to fool detectives as well as the DA.
 
When gunshots erupted late on Mother’s Day in Aliquippa, Dion Moreland says he was smoking behind a building in the 2100 block of Buchanan Street.

By the time he ran to the front yard, Moreland says he heard nothing else and saw nothing moving along the dark, unlighted expanse – not even the body of Rachael DelTondo, 33, shot multiple times and lying across the street at the base of her parents’ driveway.

Moreland, 44, of Aliquippa, says he told county detectives that the killer had vanished. Moreland believes the murderer must have been on foot and fled between houses.

Moreland is believed to be as close to a witness as police have uncovered in their six-month investigation, according to multiple sources. But he’s also, coincidentally, the cousin of the man whose defense attorney has said is a prime suspect, Sheldon Jeter Jr...
