EL DORADO HILLS, Calif. (KCRA) —
Sheriff’s investigators are looking for an El Dorado Hills mom who has been missing for four days.
Brooke Harris
disappeared on Valentine’s Day, and no one has seen or heard from her since then.
Harris, 49, was last spotted at Red Hawk Casino in Placerville on Feb. 14, according to Sgt. Anthony Prencipe, an El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson.
“We located video surveillance at Red Hawk security in the parking structure on the 14th at about 4:30 p.m.," Prencipe said.
He said the video shows “her apparently alone in her vehicle at the casino."
That vehicle is described as a 2015 gray Toyota Highlander with California license plates 7KDC011.
Precipe said there is no video evidence that Harris ever entered the casino. She did, however, leave something important behind.
“We later found her cellphone in the residence,” Prencipe said. “There's no signs of foul play or anything like that at her home.”
Harris is described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds, with blond hair and green eyes.
El Dorado County Sheriff's Office
Brooke Harris has been missing since Valentine’s Day.
Her daughter last saw Harris the night of Feb. 13, Prencipe said. Harris spoke on the phone with her husband the next day, before she disappeared. There are no signs of any criminal activity.
El Dorado Hills residents said they are concerned for Harris’ safety.
“It's very sad, very shocking. I pray for the family,” said Christa King.
“I think everybody is very worried," King added. “We all hope for the best."
Harris previously worked as a registered nurse, and licensing records show she had some mental health issues in the past. It's not known if those issues are a factor in this case.
Sheriff's Office investigators are asking anyone who has seen Harris to call them at 530-621-6000.
