Missing woman Libby Squire | Humberside Police

Can you help find missing Libby Squire (21) last seen getting into a taxi outside Welly club in Hull at around 11pm last night?

She is 5ft 7ins tall with shoulder length brown hair and was wearing a black long sleeved top, leather jacket and black denim skirt with lace.

If you have seen her please call 101 quoting log 29 of 01/02/19.

Timeline:

11pm ish Libby gets in taxi at Welly
11:18pm Libby turned away from Welly, 11:22pm Libby put in taxi
11:29 Taxi drops her near home on Wellesley Av. Neighbours saw her stumbling in street.
11:40 - 11:45 caught on CCTV on bench. Around this time grey beard man stopped to offer assistance, she declined, police have cleared him
11:49ish PR? car arrives on Haworth Street (per ITV CCTV)
12:04-12:06 ish man smoking (CCTV)
12:08 passenger door opens and someone/something is on passenger seat (CCTV)
12:09 car drives away (CCTV)
12:09 police say Libby had left the bench by now
12:19 the same car (tbc) seen Newland Av (per Sun CCTV)
12:15-12:30ish dark and eerie screams coming from park for 15 minutes
12:30ish man seen running from park
12:30ish scream and banging gate heard from Heathcote St near Libbys house.

These type of cases are emotional and tensions build when the victim cannot be found. Keep the discussion civil and respectful or face the loss of posting privileges. FYI Mods have the capability of issuing (individual member) thread reply bans which can be temporary (days, week, etc.) or permanent.

If you are particularly bothered by posts you have the ability to place a member on your ignore list. You will not be able to see their responses but will be able to see when someone quotes them.

In reply to all the posts and debates about lack of evidence and why PR hasn't been charged

Firstly we know the police had enough to arrest him on suspicion. I'm not a legal person but I'm guessing you need something.

Secondly they went back to request further time to question him on several occasions. Every one of those requests was granted up to the maximum amount of time.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that that only happens for serious crimes. I've also read in the statements from LE involved in this very case that those requests for further time can only be granted if the police have new lines of questioning usually based on new evidence. In short you can't hold someone for 96 hours with the same bit of evidence. It's been said before and it's stating the obvious but they have far more to go on.

Thirdly the minute he was in their sights and arrested they found evidence for a significant number of other crimes. 12 to date. Difficult crimes to prove yet CPS have allowed them so we can assume good evidence

Based in those crimes PR remains safely in custody. At least until a trial. And for the duration of s trial. Given the sheer number of those crimes - he could get the maximum sentence. It won't be long but it will hold him for s few more months.

So is it possible the police have enough to charge but have the luxury of added time to build a better case? So they're taking it.

Something that nobody adds into the mix. The evidence is missing because it's premeditated? There is an accomplice? Just opionions to throw into the mix

Renata Anczak has also crossed my mind during this case, i know many think her husband is responsible, ive never been quite sure. I do remember the whole reason her husband considered drugging her, was to gain access to her phone as he believed she was having an affair with a Polish Man......later confirmed without the need to drug her. Given that she vanished without trace, within PRs timeframe and not far from her stomping ground i expect LE will at least look into possible connections.

No doubt at all is was PR and LS on spidercam, LE identified and arrested him due to that and possibly other cctv. Once the media named and pictured him some of his victims began to give a positive ID. One property was visited by PR on more than 1 occasion and LE sent only PCSOs to take reports. Until the Friday after he was arrested they sent detectives down there.
Besides whatever material they recovered at his address.

Dont be fooled that poor pavel got picked up for these low level crimes and somehow ended up implicated in something much bigger, his offending came to light after he was picked up in relation to and his mug shot circulated. LE definitely got lucky in that respect.

I don't buy the poor Pawel either. They are nasty, frightening crimes. Flashers scare women, having sex toys, photos, underwear and photos stolen frightens far more than having laptops and and phones stolen. Whatever he may be, nice he is not
 
For the moment I really do not feel that the lack of evidence means the police are looking at the wrong person or even an accomplice
Until more info becomes available I'm feeling LS certainly got into his car and he willingly told the police this

I think it's very likely he drove her towards the park and "fairly" likely she never left the immediate area of the city.

What happened to her could have been anything from a tragic accident Caused by a situation he put her in .. all the way up to a vicious attack.

Unfortunately without a body or a witness to the attack it's not shocking (to me anyway) that they cant yet charge
 
I also feel theres something "off" with the Oak Rd cctv. The first time i watched it i thought it was PR and LS, so much so it made my skin prickle, having reread LE accompanying press release i dismessed it as seeing what we think we see? Having seen the chatter again last night i feel uneasy about it once again, only thing been LS was wearing a skirt so her legs wouldnt have appeared black, that doesnt fit for me but still...

Sorry if my comments are out of place, ive been catching up.

I cant stop thinking of her family, 6 weeks they have been going through this now, i cant get her out of my mind, i cant begin to contemplate what they are going through. I pray that she is found soon and brought home to them.
 
We think LE are interested in the park area because of PR phone pings or that he told LE they were there.

But there’s nothing to say that he didn’t drop her off in Wellesley and she made her own way towards the park and was seen is there?

Fetish burglaries and voyeurism do not necessarily escalate to contact offences.

It it possible for the police to get that cctv of the Oak rd 4 clearer than the one they show us. ?
