Almost certain it's a bot account. Content is bland and samey, looks basic-algorithmic to me, not curated. Suspect it's an auto-follow by her account. I ran an archive check and didn't notice many changes/updates that seemed directed, as opposed to preference-based.

No real opinion on nefariousness of said account and possible indication, nod/wink of a crime committed but honestly doubt it. The wordplay involved (SB/Sd >>> fatherless) seems too clever, one leap too many for non-specialist (non-WS) audiences.

What about the fact that the fatherless account only follows a few other accounts and only one is a person, male who says he lives in California?

I hope the authorities are keeping an eye on the lyft driver.

Been thinking about it and he was the last person we know of with her.

He could have roofied her called a friend and dropped her off at the park to a different car.

Mackenzie Lueck Was Texting While At Salt Lake City Airport
[...]

So far, police have received over 240 calls to the tip line.

Police continue to seek answers to a number of questions, including:
  1. Does Mackenzie have an alternate phone that she has used or is using?
  2. Who did Mackenzie meet in North Salt Lake City?
  3. Does Mackenzie have any social media accounts we don't know about?
  4. And is anyone in contact with Mackenzie online or by phone currently or within the last week?

On Google Earth, I noticed there are several bus stops on the sidewalk of the park’s parking lot. They don’t appear to be covered stops, which often have cameras, but it made me wonder what hours the bus run. Almost ALL city buses have cameras ... inside but ALSO facing out like a dash cam. It was apart of a police initiative years ago to help capture things like this. I doubt the bus was operational this late ... wishing thinking. Almost all the other nearby businesses seem to be mom and pop and, since it’s a low crime area, I doubt they had cameras outside their businesses.
Probably standard operating procedure for LE to quickly secure available video footage...like from ATMs in the area(maybe Daddy Warbucks needed some cash)

Just clarifying that it wasn't me who brought up the mental health issue (mostly because you quoted me). I'm just a run of the mill night owl! :)

Edited to add: There certainly are SOME mental health disorders that can cause difficulty sleeping.

Substance abuse, mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders are a few of the many conditions that involve insomnia. It is unknown why insomnia is such a common symptom among these illnesses.
Psychiatric Disorders & Insomnia - Ask the Expert - National Sleep Foundation
And sometimes you don't sleep because you drank caffeine or you just don't require a lot of sleep. I normally sleep 2-3 hours a night. My husband needs 10 hours. we have 4 children. Two sleep like him and two sleep like me. Guess who has the sleep disorder. One of the ones that requires 12 hours sleep a night.

I’m desperately trying to catch up but somehow the thread has gone from 78 unread messages to almost 300. In the event this hasn’t been discussed already: if someone’s IG account is private and they make it public all follow requests would be accepted at that time.

So if she sent the request before disappearing and they were private it just might have been accepted now.

The bots will notice your interest and send those accounts your way!

It's the fact that the hashtag and her name with the account is picking up and so bots are also pushing it. I have noticed before in some missing persons case that other hashtags will be attached to them.

So a comment on KL instagram(totally open to the public) says she is part of the daddy gang. Her picture on her private account novababy96 is her wearing daddy gang merchandise. This is all just so sad to me, I never knew a "world" like this existed. So eye opening.

No. They are not mutually exclusive.

But OP (original poster) posted a screen shot that COULD HAVE been faked. So to try and informally validate that this actually happened, we look for someone else to duplicate it. In this case, go and also screen shot the same recent activity. Just helps to verify a little better.

got it
thanks

Questions raised about dating apps as search continues for missing Utah student
As the search for a missing University of Utah student continues, questions are being raised about whether her social media and dating accounts might lead to a break in the case.

And on Wednesday, Salt Lake City police confirmed that Mackenzie "Kenzie" Lueck sent a text to someone while she was at the airport and detectives have been in contact with that person.

[...]

Wonder if this person came forward voluntarily (I would if I had nothing to hide), or if LE contacted this person based on phone records.

I hope the authorities are keeping an eye on the lyft driver.

Been thinking about it and he was the last person we know of with her.

He could have roofied her called a friend and dropped her off at the park to a different car.

No Lyft driver I ever rode with offered me a beverage. Is this a new service and I'm being short-changed?

Same, I just noticed this too.

Again, although there could be someone on her account unfollowing someone, it could also be someone who deactivated their account or was deleted by Instagram.
Yep, just changed for me, too. I am sure there are so many people looking at her account though, and scrutinizing everyone she's tagged. If I had been tagged and I thought people were checking out my account because of something like this, I'd probably delete it too. I am sure it feels like an invasion of privacy, and I am sure there are people out there who have no boundaries and who are messaging her known Instagram friends/tagged friends.

I know I am no Spring chicken, but this socialmedia-babble is WWWWWWAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYY over my head and beyond my comprehension! I'm glad you all understand it and are having "fun" with sleuthing, though. I'll just hang in and wait for the official "LE-babble" that I can follow. :)
