Who knows what story he told her - whatever it was she fell for it. I really do think she was trusting and thought she was having mutually-agreed upon fun. I think he spotted her online and targeted her precisely because of that young, carefree, trusting demeanor.I just wonder what he would have to tell her to get her agreement to that. I also don't know that she knew they would be going to that house. If they did. There might be something else that we just can't see.
I also think that if her phone was turned off right after the Lyft drop off, she was under the person's control, possibly incapacitated, because I don't think she would agree to shut off her phone. And if her phone was taken from her and shut off that swiftly, this was all planned.
Yes, her phone was quickly silent, probably because he lived only a few miles from the park. Makes sense to me. Or maybe he disabled her phone even before arriving to his house so her phone wouldn't ping in his neighborhood. That's another possibility. Seems like the "date" went violent fast.
The shining light is while he might trick young co-eds, but he can't trick LE. They got this. imo
