Right, but why did they help her? Like if someone is such a terrible caregiver and parent that they have to ask for this help, you should say no.
Maybe they are just as bad as she is? Birds of a feather flock together, kind of thing. JMO

Birds of a feather flock together.

People tend to surround themselves with people who are most like themselves. That or they were simply enablers. Their fondness for mom blinded them to mom's parental inabilities.

My question was more of a rhetorical question, you’re absolutely right. It’s just gut wrenching to me that people can think this way! People die because of this. Innocent children die because of it.

LOL This statement is awesome! I don’t think I’ve heard it before.

OK, what could give LE the impression that something happened two days prior? Examples --
1) Neighbors hadn't seen Noah since at least then
2) Neighbors saw/heard commotion or unusual traffic
3) Flurry of phone calls
.....and, go!
Info from a family member or one of the siblings?

JMO....It appears to me her appearance has declined from the mug shoot and today's court appearance.
Actually I hope that she is having a horrendous time dealing with maybe, withdrawal and any other inconvenience. Three people living in the home, huh. How many adults who most likely know what happened to this baby?

<modsnip - please refrain from violent language>
Then I looked at little Noah's face and fell in love. This is so heartbreaking. Another innocent angel lost.

She doesn't look ANYTHING like most of her FB photos, either in her mugshot or at her arraignment. I guess she cleans up well when she has the right motivation.

Why was she warned ahead of time that CPS was coming?

ALERT: The Arraignment for Julia Tomlin (Noah Tomlin's mother) is set for 9am today. @KPattersonWAVY will be there. Julia Tomlin is charged w/felony child neglect. Police have not found Noah yet, but they say they no longer believe the little boy is alive:

Investigation into 2-year-old boy’s disappearance continues after mother charged

Thanks for the update. No real news, but we did learn of one person on this earth who said she loved Noah. Thank goodness for Barbey. I can't imagine what she may be going thru -- possibly knowing what his situation was when she began caring for him, and the probable heartbreak when she had to give him back to his "mother." At least that little boy knew what love was for a little while. SMH.

Noah Tomlin's mother faces three charges of felony child neglect. Court paperwork says the offenses occurred on or about June 22 - that's two days before Noah was reported missing to police.

Julia Tomlin told the court today that she lives at her home with three children. Paperwork says one is only 6-months-old, one is two (Noah), and another is three.

No no bond please
I think they will give her a fairly high bond amount, but I don't think this is a "no bond" type crime.
Who's gonna go her bail on this? If someone crawls out of the woodwork, I want to see him/her, and so would LE, I would imagine.
Again, at least there she will be taken care of, hosted by the good people of Virginia -- meals, clean jail clothing, clean bed, hot & cold water -- showers, clean floors, etc., etc. How often did Noah and his siblings get that kind of care?
I think she's there to stay for a while, at least.
