Thanks for the court updates today everyone.

Can someone please clarify: the man mentioned today at the inquest- does his brother or had his brother lived on Benaroon Drive? Or was this at a different location?
Thanks in advance
The brother who testified today lived in Springvale with his parents, which is in/near Wagga Wagga. The brother's brother, the sex offender, lived in Taree, but often slept overnight in his van in Kendall. There's been nothing to suggest that either ever lived in Benaroon Drive.

Wouldn’t the police have been able to establish if RD worked that day ? Wouldn’t they have been able to access payroll documents instead of the store manager ?
Maybe they have already done that, its just that Sharon could not confirm whether he worked or not,she also said that he usually worked the afternoon shift, wonder what time the arvo shift started.

Not sure, just that she said she’d contacted payroll to find out as records weren’t available

Looking for a quite place to park, the end of a semi dead end street would make sense if he was looking for somewhere else to park rather then the pool or showground,I wonder if he worked the Thursday.

also its a little alarming how easily donohue was cleared to join the ses searches, i guess if you have no record? but i also notice on that grid search map a lot of the people were neighbours, so what happens if /when a neighbour is the perp and could easily cover their tracks while searching?
He was an SES member but that doesn't mean he was approved to take part in searches. There are different kinds of members. He said he helped search for William, but he might have been big-noting himself, or he might have helped in an ordinary civilian capacity rather than qua SES. And, as there was a Donoghue who was recorded as searching Benaroon Drive (edit: no, in Ellendale Crescent), probably a neighbour, let's get the sex offender's name right--Donohoe.

I wonder if Donohoe camped at the cemetary at times,I also wonder if his van could have been mistaken for Speddings van which was said to be seen at the house during the searches.
seen at which house?

Yes. "Donohoe" is an unusual surname, given the usual spelling is "Donohue". It is, however, endemic to the Port Mac area, coming from a convict- Patrick Donohoe and his Aboriginal wife. There are a few "Donohoes" scattered througout Aus..but mainly in the Taree, Walcha and Pt Mac areas. Im a descendent of the Donohoes at Pt Mac. Dont know too much bout this fella tho.. yet.
All MOO.

Is it pronounced Donohue?

The first name was wrong as well.
