The Cascade County Sheriff's Office and the Cascade County Search and Rescue team are searching for Amy Elaine Harding (AKA Permann).

• Last seen leaving her residence at 343 Flood Road on foot at about 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 26th, heading SE toward the Missouri River.
• She is 34 years old and was wearing black yoga-style pants and a long-sleeve T-shirt (unknown color).
• Call the Sheriff’s Office at 406-454-6979 if you have any information.

Last seen leaving the house in the dark, on foot, heading towards a river? I don't like the sound of that. Amy is a nurse, and I see at some point within the last year she was dating a neurosurgeon, not sure if that relationship is current?

Amy lives on the Missouri River. ETA- the original report may not be correct. I believe this is her boyfriend's house (based on newer articles).

• They called out Search & Rescue, Great Falls Police Department, and Malmstrom AFB to aid in the search overnight
• This morning they deployed their K-9 units to assist as well.
• Sheriff Slaughter said volunteer firefigthers, more detectives, deputies and GFPD are continuing the search.

From her Facebook her kids aren't really little so they might have seen her leave. Amy Elaine I worry about what she was wearing given temperatures down in the 20's at night. Hopefully, she went to a friends house and just didn't let her kids know but as close as the river is, I'm worried. In addition, a helicopter is being used, along with a drone that has FLIR capabilities. Searchers are also using dogs to assist in the search.

Sheriff Slaughter that at this point, they are not asking for volunteers to assist in the search, but will let people know if that changes. He advised that people avoid the area if possible so search crews can perform their duties.

Cascade County Sheriff: Missing Great Falls woman is Benefis OR nurse

Search personnel gather at 343 Flood Road on Monday afternoon as the search effort continues for Amy Elaine Harding (Permann), 34, who was last seen leaving the residence on Sunday night.

At a Monday afternoon news conference, Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter said deputies responded to a 911 call from the residence at 8:19 p.m. for a report of a disturbance.

Upon arriving about 10 minutes later, law enforcement contacted the caller, John VanGilder. He stated that Harding, his girlfriend, had assaulted him and fled before deputies arrived on the scene.

According to Slaughter, Harding is an operating room nurse with Benefis Health System and is a mother to at least one child.
