What they’re requesting makes me feel sick. I hope the prosecution don’t have to give them anything that isn’t to do with the current charges. Surely LE have the right to withhold anything to do with future charges?

I keep hanging on to the (very) small hope that the kids are alive but the fishing expedition by her lawyers makes me feel even more strongly they are not. JMO

Here’s the discovery rule. You can see that the lawyer’s wishlist sort of follows along the list of what the prosecution has to produce. Prosecution does not have to produce ideas about future charges, but a lot of the evidence relating to the current charges may overlap with evidence regarding potential future charges.

Hmm. The specific mention of Boise and Ada County doesn't make sense, does it? I assume they mean the City of Boise, but it could be Boise County (another example of her attorney not proofreading very well). For the uninitiated, the City of Boise is in Ada County. Boise County is a rural county NE of Ada County. Both are several hundred miles away from Madison County. If she has been to the Boise area and questioned or anything there, we haven't heard about it. That's possible. But if I were to guess, based on what we've seen of this attorney's work product, my guess is because her attorney is based in the Boise metro that he has a standard list of things he choses from for putting his discovery request together and he neglected to change Boise and Ada County to say City of Rexburg and Madison County.

I am wondering if there is data that does show she was in Boise in February, though CV's lawyers could not find her. They tried to find her at an airport and "an event" (which I am assuming was that conference when they stated "she was on assignment".) She has evaded LE/court orders for years... Is there anything in regards to hiding from the law when CV was trying to find her that they can pin on her??? If so, I could see where her lawyers would want to see that data.

If a SAR was filed on any transaction for her account, LE would be able to request or subpoena it from the U.S. treasury, which is where a SAR is sent when a financial institution files it.

We cannot sleuth the family members of any of these people nor post anything about family and other associates/players that has not been revealed in the MSM/LE press releases. This is my current understanding of the boundaries here, with the standard disclaimer I am not a mod/I don't make the rules.

With the FBI there I have to wonder if Federal Charges are in the picture for LV and maybe Chad. None of the actors in this mess seem very computer savvy. What "trove" of digital information do they have and how could the Feds use it. Maybe murder in multiple states? I am sure if something happened at Yellowstone they would have control over that case.

I don't know if this has been discussed previously or not, but I know people were looking into poisons for possible deaths related to case on this thread, and just read up on a family of 4 from Australia in 2007 who were doomsday preppers and still missing as of today. What caught my attention was, 1. he was an author of a book in 1998 called " Server's of the Divine plan", 2. "important fact", he told 1 person he was going to take a drug called "Nembutal" to self and family. I goggled Nembutal and causes "paraphrasing here," sedative to just fall asleep don't wake up, cardiac arrest, and a drug over dose, etc. 3. People where getting this liquid drug Nembutal from Mexico. I hope this was ok to discuss, new here don't want to violate any rules. My own thoughts, were considering current case was interesting. Any knowledge or thoughts known about this? TX u.

Why doesn't it apply to her? If they think she is a flight risk, they can just ankle tag her can't they?
