I believe Prior asked the Judge that it be placed “on record” that the venue change, if asked for, could also be out of State. And he said either the defense or the State could ask for that.

Nope MOO. It was for another district. States have multiple districts. This is a state case, not federal. There are 7 district courts in Idaho.

I did note that it was an LG (therefore android?) that was sent back to FBI. I wish I could remember the question the FBI guy was asked and his response was "I can't answer that".

I can't figure out why he's not online as was with the Frazee trial. His entire EIN is about online, but he's not doing it?

It had to do with the pings. He had delegated that task to someone who was a specialist, and thus 'couldn't' answer it simply because he didn't complete the investigation.

It was so interesting today when CD's attorney JP asked the FBI Agent if he wore gloves when he was brushing away dirt from the black plastic that was wrapped around JJ. Chad visibility winced when the agent said yes, and I thought CD's expression had that oh shoot look, I forgot to do that. JMO

Ohh, I would love to see that in a video with timestamp. I wondered why he asked such a specific question. I would assume, as a good lawyer, he knows that his client did not have prints on the tape etc. as the old adage is don't ask a question unless you know the answer in lawyer 101 classes MOO

I think I must not be watching the same trial. I don't understand the comments about the lawyers. This isn't like a courtroom drama on TV. These lawyers both appear competent and to be doing their jobs to the best of their ability. How is criticizing them here helping at all?

Maybe EIN or Nate are witnesses in LVD's trial? They are keeping quiet until then. Nate had that video in HI questioning LVD and CD might be why? Hope they aren't backing away for some reason other than that. jmo

Lori wanted Chad's life insurance IMO. Do we know if he had any? Even if he didn't, Lori could have assumed he did because TD did. In her world, the whole point of husbands is so they can die and she can collect. Chad's days were numbered, IMO.

I think she was desperate for money. I have found myself wondering if JJ and Tylee would have been killed had Lori inherited the money from CV. She wouldn't have needed the inheritance from Tammy then, either.

I agree that the competition for and winning of Chad would very soon lose its novelty and he would be next. But if it was Alex who did the murders, who then would have murdered Chad?

I remembered because I searched for that tote back when I first saw it. Since the screenshot I took of the Walmart page that featured that tote was 6/9, it appears I was looking at the same time as many of us here were looking to see if we might be able to find an orange tarp that matched the one found in the location TR was buried in.

And don't leave out the folks who found the ceramic dog from Lowe's (iirc) that was at the side of the area! So many searched! Thanks

"Limbs" is a play on the limbs of a creature, including a human. The large size of the raccoon similar. It's either a Freudian slip, or he's saying "haha", and using those words to sinister purpose.

Raccoon is used to describe a level of demon in some Japanese spiritual texts, as shapeshifter in others, benign or dark... Does anybody actually have the entire text of the text he sent her? Maybe he was talking about something else, may be worth running a text search from his writings, find reference to his understanding of it? Something she would have understood.?

One more thing I think worth pointing out about chad using the defense that he didnt know about the kids be buried in his yard. That would not only mean someone snuck on his property on two separate occasions without him knowing but it would also mean that someone would of also burned a body on his property as well as dug two graves, without his knowledge.

..and all the while, he was sitting in his car seeing both of them being removed. And telling Lori such on the phone.

It sounds like Alex had JJ quite a bit. At least after Tylee wasn't around to babysit. If Lori considered Alex her protector and had groomed him, all she would have to do is feed him info about JJ turning into a zombie and causing her pain and strife and holding her back from her mission and I think Alex would put 2 and 2 together and do what Lori wanted him to do without her having to outright give the order. Why it happened that night I don't know. MOO.

I can think of jealousy.
1. Her activity per MG was walking around campus holding hands and kissing with her married boyfriend with their couple friends. The couple friends, MG and DW, were free to travel together and do what ever they wanted as they were not cheating as far as I know. So there may have been some jealousy there. LV and CD were supposed to be the super couple not MG and DW. Time to get rid of the last anchor.

2. Per MG, they were recording a podcast. She wanted to be doing that with her friends. A special needs child stood in the way.

3. She had witnesses to him being there.

I just watched Scott Reisch on YouTube. I think he is allowed here. He is an attorney. Scott said a murder charge would require another preliminary hearing. But he also said he does not believe a murder charge will be filed because if the DA had enough evidence, he would have combined murder with the charges he had.

I am bummed about that. I hate thinking had or Lori could walk after five years.
