The jury at Aubrey Trail’s murder trial today saw autopsy photos on two big screens pointed away from court-goers, as the pathologist testified about Sydney Loofe being cut into 14 pieces before she was left in rural Clay County.

I've also been wondering if BB's family is there.

I highly doubt it. They have better stuff to do like take care of Bailey's daughter. And they're probably so grossed out by the crime that they can't even look at her. I mean she didn't just kill someone in a DUI accident, she killed and dismembered a young woman, completely premeditated.

I could be wrong though.

What I really really want to know is how the hellllll did BB and AT meet? I've read that they met in St.Josephs,MO. I'm guessing they met over Tinder or something. BB was pretty imo if you look at pics from 2014-2015 before she met AT. She was only 23 when she committed this crime.

What the hell is she doing with AT who is a 51 yr old morbidly obese convict with a long rap sheet? Free meth?

Live updates: Final arguments begin in Bailey Boswell's trial

After more than two weeks of testimony about the death and dismemberment of a Lincoln store clerk three years ago, final arguments are under way.

Prosecutors will argue Bailey Boswell played an active role in the slaying of after the two women met on the internet dating app Tinder.

A defense attorney for Boswell, meanwhile, is expected to tell jurors there's no evidence his client participated in Loofe's killing.

We are just about ready to start day 14 of the trial of Bailey Boswell. It has been a long few weeks but the judge predicts we could potentially have a verdict this afternoon/evening.

The judge has informed us the prosecution only has one more witnesses that may take an hour to finish. Says the jury will likely hear closing arguments around noon, so she believes the case will be sent around 1:30-2PM. No comment on number of defense witnesses.

Mike Maseth has been called to the stand as the prosecution’s final witness. Maseth is the FBI Special Agent who was the lead investigator in this case.

Questions are starting with Boswell’s pinger numbers and the date of their creation. Most of the numbers used were created just a few weeks prior to Loofe’s disappearance.

The map shows phone data from the 14th. It shows a phone call from one of Boswell’s phones to Trail’s phone starting at around 11:50AM and ending around 12:30PM. At around 12:11PM a Tinder message is sent to Sydney Loofe on Boswell’s other phone.

The timing of the messages indicates that Boswell did not send the Tinder message to Loofe.

Now we are seeing some of the last texts Sydney’s mother sent her the day of her disappearance. They start around 7 PM asking first why Sydney didnt call her that day, then asking about her date, turning to worry when Sydney does not respond.

Now questions are focused on what Trail and Boswell purchased the 15th and how many of those items were recovered from Trail and Boswell’s apartment. Notably missing was any Draino, a hacksaw, or tin snips, all of which were allegedly used during Sydney’s murder.

Maseth is now walking the jury through a video of Trail and Boswell coming and going from a hotel near the Ameristar Casino on November 18th, three days after Sydney disappeared. Katie, one of last week’s witnesses, is also seen.

Maseth is noting the group only gambled the night of Nov 17th, their first night at the casino. Even though they would stay until the 19th they would not gamble after the first night.

Now a trip the group made on November 18th is being discussed. The group was staying at the Ameristar Casino but took a trip south to Nebraska City.During this trip Boswell was called by an LPD investigator. Data shows Boswell missed 6 calls from LPD the 17th and 18th.
Data showed the group making a trip over the river east after heading south, before coming back again west and then North to around Lincoln, then back to around Omaha.

The prosecution has finished questioning, cross exam for Maseth is starting.

The defense’s cross exam questions are focused on phone settings, how you reset a phone to factory settings, and what a factory reset means. Also some questions on Trail and his need fo use a cane.

The defense is also asking about Trail’s banking information. Trail’s ex-wife had been making regular withdrawals from Trail’s account, along with another woman named Miranda Ford. Maseth believes the two were friends.

The name “Miranda” has been brought up by two of Boswell and Trail’s ex-gf’s who have testified in this trial. In Branson, they testified Trail had pretended to be possessed by Miranda when he beat Ashley after she injured him during sex.

Maseth is now testifying that Ford was involved in a gold coin scam with Trail. She had made phone calls trying to scam others, one of Boswell and Trail’s ex gf’s Ashley also testified in this trial to making calls for this and other scams.

Now questions are focusing how Boswell and Trail lived prior to settling down in Wilber. The pair bounced around several hotels before finally renting the apartment in Wilber. Boswell’s child has also come up.

Maseth is now testifying to a domestic assault he became aware if where Boswell was the victim of. Her child’s father had assaulted her sometime before she had met Aubrey Trail.

Now the topic of erotic or autoerotic asphyxiation is being discussed. This is where you intentionally choke yourself or are choked during sex to make it more enjoyable.

Cross exam has finished, redirect is beginning

After a short bit of redirect Maseth has finished testimony. Now a phone call is being submitted as the last piece of evidence. Maseth finishes up our witness testimony from the prosecution side, the defense will be up next after the phone call is submitted.

The phone call is from LPD investigator Cameron Cleland to Boswell. Boswell is heard describing her date with Loofe. She describes them smoking weed and cruising then dropping Loofe off in a place she wasn’t familiar with.

In the phone call Boswell says she is worried about being arrested for the drugs, Cleland assures her he does not care about the drugs or potential warrants just wanted to find Sydney. He warns Boswell the Feds will find her so its best to handle it locally.

In the phone call Cleland becomes frustrated with the lack of information that Boswell is giving. In the phone call Boswell also gives a false name, then refuses to give any more information.

“I have to cover my *advertiser censored*” was Boswell’s response when Cleland tells her that she is not being cooperative about giving information.

“I dont think you understand the gravity of this”, words from Cleland to Boswell on the phone call. Followed by “and just to be honest with you, we are coming for you”.

Boswell is clearly confrontational and avoiding every question on the phone call. She claims her warrants worried her but Cleland keeps assuring her he does not care about the warrants or any drug crimes.

“Can you explain to me why her phone was turned off?” “Because her phone was turned off when she was with you”-Investigator Cleland to Boswell on the phone call

Cleland spends most of the call trying to get Boswell to open up but she refuses to answer questions with any detail. “I have to find you, im not going to stop until I do.”-Cleland to Boswell.

We have finished the phone call, that wraps up things for the prosecution and the state rests its case. The defense will begin after morning break.

We are back, the defense is starting with a motion to dismiss charges. Claims the state hasn’t proven anything regarding Boswell killing Loofe, just Trail.

The defense has motioned for every charge to be dismissed, the objections are all focused on the state not proving these crimes. Some questions on venue are being brought up as well. All motions have been overruled.

The defense rests its case without calling any witnesses or showing any evidence.

We will begin final arguments today but the jury has chosen to hear the case starting tomorrow morning. This means we will have no verdict today, potentially tomorrow.

Closing arguments are now beginning, Mike Guinan is giving the arguments for the prosecution.

"This case is about an orgasmic desire to torture and kill” Guinan’s first words describing the case.

“When she talked about this she was joyful and giggling. Her eyes would light up when talking about killing” -Mike Guinan in closing arguments

The prosecution is walking the jury through the timeline of this whole story. Starting in the Summer of 2017 when Ashley and Anna became involved with Boswell,to the escalating torture fantasies throughout the summer intermixed with tales of witchcraft and other crimes.

Guinan is continuing to tell the story of Anna and Ashley, the abuses they suffered at the hands of Boswell when they would break the “rules” of the relationship, and how Boswell planned to kill Anna when she became annoyed with her.

Now he has made it to Boswell’s relationship with Katie in October of 2017. How she had already scared off Anna and Ashley by this time and approached Katie to potentially kill for her.

Guinan is now describing the incident in which Katie was raped anally by Boswell for breaking rules, and how Trail told Katie that Boswell enjoyed sex more when she was inflicting pain and discussing torture.

Guinan is now laying out the pattern of “recruitment” that Trail and Boswell had with their relationships. Pick up vulnerable women off of Tinder, offer them a sugar daddy relationship, slowly introduce them to ideas of torture, murder, and witchcraft.

What I really really want to know is how the hellllll did BB and AT meet? I've read that they met in St.Josephs,MO. I'm guessing they met over Tinder or something. BB was pretty imo if you look at pics from 2014-2015 before she met AT. She was only 23 when she committed this crime.

According to tweets today from a Lincoln-based reporter, Maseth gave a little more info about Boswell and Trail. Not clear if he met her at the bar where she worked or online.

Boswell, 26, is accused of first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder and improper disposal of skeletal remains in the death and dismemberment of Sydney Loofe, a 24-year-old Lincoln store clerk.

Boswell faces the possibility of the death penalty if found guilty of first-degree murder. She could become the first woman sent to death row in the state.

I was BB’s manager for 2-3 years at a restaurant near her hometown in Iowa. At this time she was finishing high school. I’ve been following this case from day one and am absolutely sickened and appalled . My brain can not comprehend this heinous premeditated murder of a innocent stranger. My thoughts and prayers are with the Loofe family. I hope the jury finds BB guilty on all counts and we get justice for Sydney.

From what I have read About her background, she wasn’t always like this. In your opinion when did this change? From what I’ve read it seems like the transition happened in college when she met her babies daddy. Would be interested in your views
