Found Safe TX - Christopher Ramirez, 3, followed dog into woods, dog came back, Grimes Co, 6 Oct 2021

Thank you God, what an incredible miracle. Sending all my love to those wonderful LEOs, SARs, volunteers who searched. God bless them, and God bless the landowner that found him. I can’t even being to imagine his mama’s relief!

I am a tiny bit worried that he was found naked and over five miles away. Could he have been picked up by someone at some point? Hopefully he will be able to verbalize his experience.

They will figure it all out. He’s alive and safe! I’m going to focus on that.
I am having the same thoughts @steeltowngirl. Four days and five miles away is far and a long time. And found naked. Most likely he was just lost in the woods all that time, but I’m sure they will be able to get some details from him to make sure nothing else happened. No matter what that is a long long time for a three year old to be away from mom. In the dark in the woods! Poor baby!

What great news! I was staying away thinking this wouldn't be the outcome.

So glad he was found safe but I feel there should still be some kind of investigation regarding where he ended up. It's hard to believe a 3 year old could walk that far without food or water and have no physical evidence of his journey besides dehydration. He should be covered with scratches and bug bites. If he isn't that makes me very concerned someone may have taken him but panicked and put him somewhere where he could be found, if not by the search teams but someone else. IMO

Interview with Tim, he heard Christopher and notified LE.

Though Christopher went missing Wednesday, Tim said he first heard about the missing child Friday night during group bible study.

“Last night I was in a bible study that we have every other Friday and there were a number of people talking about this little boys that’s been lost and it was news to me,” Tim said. “This is the first I’d heard of it. I’m not paying attention to news or anything, and, I was prompted then by the Spirit to say ‘you will go look for that boy. You will search the woods.’”

This is my concern as well. I said earlier that I wondered if he was kidnapped and then dumped somewhere. I pray he just took his clothes off because they became wet or uncomfortable or something. In the photo I saw he looked a bit dirty but it wasn’t as bad as I’d expect after being outside for days. But I assume they will have social workers to talk to him and try to find out what happened. I’m just so grateful that no matter what, he is alive.

I just watched the interview with Tim and the sheriff and the happiness on both of their faces was so nice to see. I’m sure with what Tim does especially, there aren’t enough happy endings like this.

More goosebumps! Every so often we get a miracle story, and they are the crown jewel stories among the threads.

Grateful for my fellow sleuthers to share this awesome news together with you all today.

Oh my goodness.
I could not get through this story without tears.
And then I read it to my husband and I cried again.
Simply a miracle, that I don’t need to understand or question.
LE and other professionals will determine if there is anything else besides the miracle it appears to me to be.
Hallelujah!

Same here on the concern. There are legitimate reasons for why he could've taken clothing off himself, but it's yet another reason for a child specialist to interview him.

I'm on the same page as a few of you who have commented with skepticism over whether or not he was really out there for four days.

A day or two ago this was reported, "While they are facing challenges, they are working through them. One of those challenges is the weather, which has been cooperative so far, Sheriff Sowell said, however, as the temperature slowly rises, humans and K9 officers need to take more frequent breaks to stay healthy."

At that point I thought they would not find him alive.

I am hoping that in addition to a social worker speaking with him, they will retrace the route he likely took, even if only by drone, and can find the clothing he was wearing and took off. Don't know if I'm being paranoid.. It's just an awfully long time for a little child with no resources (or much resourcefulness) to survive and be in good shape. Can't shake the Nagging feeling that someone had him and then panicked when they saw the response.

You know for everyone who said a prayer or just thought for a minute about him when they posted on this thread. . . we know we can close our eyes tonight, knowing he's safe, and getting tucked in by him mama. This news was the actual high point of my day. God bless LE and the searchers and the person who heard him crying.

I’m very interested in where his clothing will be found. Assuming they are found within the same 5 mile radius, that’s a T-shirt, shorts, possibly underwear or a diaper and 2 shoes. Five items plus Christopher. There’s definitely an opportunity for education and more training if 6 items were out there for four days. And I’m not suggesting anything other than hoping LE and SAR can enhance search tactics for the next child.
