I also am just so in disbelief I have to share that I once spent a couple hours with Mr Depp in a bar while he was filming with John Waters. Makes me no expert on who he is and was before ( I believe) his substance issues. This was after I had been a victim of violence and I felt very comfortable with him. I could have probably gone further but I had a relationship and just really enjoyed talking with him. He came across as very intelligent and kind. Apropos of nothing and if he is a monster then he should be punished but if AH is a monster she should be as well.
