Maybe I’m reading into this comment wrong, but I was genuine in my question, and this response seems disingenuous. We aren’t all constitutional experts. It is still used in prosecutions. Sometimes a state will wave extradition. A few years ago, there were serious charges in two states. Sometimes the state with the weaker case will yield to another. Sometimes the state with the more serious charge will prosecute.

Honestly, I do not remember but do know that most apartments, which were not student housing, had their assigned parking spaces. I don't recall garages, I attended parties there in the day, and like the murder victims were, was often rather under the influence. Pullman and Moscow, MAJOR partying. Pullman is primarily a college town, Moscow is becoming more of an actual town not just associated with the U of I. Moscow or off-campus parties are usually where my friends and I would go. By the end of my freshman year, I was done with partying for the most part.

IMO you don't have to be super smart to complete graduate work. Ask me, I'm honestly not smart. It's more putting in the work. Also is WSU academically renowned or something? Not familiar with American state college system.

My guess is that some error was made about the dates. If BK graduated from DeSales in 2022 and posted an apparently approved project in May of that year, couldn't he have been at DeSales more recently? Someone should check my math, but if he's 28 now, in 2010 he would have been ~16 years old. In 2014, he would have been ~20. Very early to be leaving an MA program.Someone knows how long the survey had been up - but the professor who approved it has spoken out. This article doesn't mention when BK left the program, and says "late 2010's" but another article (which I can't find right now, so MOO) says BK left DeSales in 2014 (there's a video of his graduation event - it's been posted several times).

ANYWAY, yes, I DO believe his program of study was designed to both indulge and quell his inner life. Initially, by studying psychology and trying to be a psychologist (community college level), he was hoping to fix himself. But it turns out to be very difficult for anyone (including psychologists) to "fix themselves" when they have a seriously disordered brain/mind.
I do hope someone studies this guy. I think he's the type who would love to write a book in prison (ghost written).
It's still absolutely bizarre that he killed four students to whom he had to have been either a stranger or almost a stranger. I think there's some kind of message in his crime. I can't even imagine the interior of his mind, though.
